Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandPerfect for couples. Our room had an amazing view, we enjoyed it. The hotel is located in the center so you can just walk everywhere around town. You can access the hotel from the beach as well which is amazing. Our host Mrs. Nora was beyond kind and helpful, which made our stay even better.

Hong KongGreat location. A few minutes walk from main street but on the quiet end of street so can’t really hear any noise. The place is right next to the beach and major dive shops and restaurants. The room was super clean. They cleaned the sand mess we made many times. The host Laura is super helpful and nice. Can see she put a lot of work into the place. Be prepared to have a relatively basic room but you have everything you need! Such good vaue for money!

NetherlandsWe were lucky enough to be in the only room that directly faces the beach - I loved being able to sit at the balcony and view the craziness of El Nido from a distance! The room had airco, a fan, a fridge, and access to potable water, which is always not the case in places in Palawan. I loved that we could close the huge window/door, see the see and the beach and not being seen during the day (once you experience it, you'll know what I mean!). Make sure you request the room with the balconi on the beach! The location is perfect, as it it is right before the craziness in town starts. The owner was extremely kind and helpful! She even noticed we were trying to leave a day earlier :D! The room and the entire place was extremely clean, with bed-sheets changed every day and a nice smell of laundry all day long. I highly recommend this place if you want to adventure in the crazy. mass-tourism, El Nido town!

The Inn is perfectly situated at the end of the busy part of El Nido and therefore still quiet and directly at the beach. We also loved the friendly staff. Good value for the price.

United KingdomI do not recommend bathing in the beach in front the accomodation, go to Lio or Marimegmeg. Also there stray dogs about in El Nido which result in dog poo. If you have kids please watch your step on the streets and the beach. Not anyone's fault, just something to note.
Chislyk Inn was the perfect choice for our stay in El Nido. Managed by the beautiful Nora, it was such a cosy and well managed property. El Nido is expensive on the whole compared to other parts of Phillipines we visited. However Chislyk Inn offered extreme value for money. We had a lovely cottage type room with two double beds and a wet room. The rooms were cleaned every day. There was a fan and an air condition unit in the room and we often just used the fan as it was enough to keep us cool. Water and coffee were provided for free on site. Nora was always on hand to answer any questions or help in any way she could. The staff are very helpful lovely and welcoming. Chislyk is situated right at the beginning of El Nido town, perfect situated to do the boat tours, visit Lio Beach and Marimegmeg Beach. A trip from the airport via tuk tuk is 300 pesos. A trip to Marimegmeg was 150 pesos, I reccomend you watch the sunset from there as it was epic! Lio beach was really beautiful as well, chilled, lots of family places to eat and relax. All the tours ABCD, in El Nido are priced the same if you are joining a tour. If you want a private boat I think you can negotiate. We did two tours A and C, both are the most reccomended and both were lovely. I preferred tour A the stops are blow your mind beautiful. We also came across companies that offer a photographer for the day using drones etc. We didn't book but we saw their photos and it really looked amazing. I think the private tour can do ABCD in one go and would highly recommend that if you have limited time as the places are closeby. The tour company used was UMI tours and they were good fun. The boats are simple, lunch is filipino, filling and they are great with kids and taking photos. Every single stop the guys were on hand to help us with the kids and often they would entertain them so we could just soak up the scenery. I thank Nora so much for recommending them. El Nido day life and night life is very vibrant.

ItalyWe really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is centrally located very close to town, but away from the noisy area. It looks out to the main beach of El Nido town, so you have a wonderful view as soon as you step out of your room. The lady who runs the place is the sweetest and kindest woman and always available to help with anything you need. Room is simple and a bit small, but very clean. Hot shower in the bathroom. Internet works well (there were some issues with Internet in all of El Nido when we were there, but nothing to do with the hotel, the whole line was down in the whole of Palawan. Once these issues were resolved, wifi was great). Good value for money considering how pricey accommodations in El Nido are. Highly recommended.

CanadaThe ONLY downside was that the walls were very thin we honestly do not mind this, BUT, the neighbors were fighting nonstop in the morning and late in the evening. We could still hear them past 10pm when all guests were supposed to be more mindful and quiet. Not the property's fault! If that part of the experience did not effect our stay, it would have been a 10/10.
The location, the views, the comfortable room was fab. Waking up to that view in the morning, and walking right onto the beach was the best! Nora is lovely and the staff were super kind. I would highly recommend it.

RomaniaAlthough the property is peaceful and safe, its position within the city makes it sometimes noisy during night time making it very hard for us to fall asleep.
The place is really close to the center of El Nido city where all the shops and restaurants are, but still, it feels very safe and comfortable. Our room was clean and decent and the lady who owns the place is trying to do her best to make you feel welcome.
