How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing much really.
I like that this is actually a female dorm house with one 6 bedder dorm room on the second floor, and a double room at the ground level. As I was staying in this accoms with my male partner, we stayed at the ground level - you can see how safe and secure this would feel for a solo budget female traveller. They also provide free laundry service, and location is very ideal near Colon street, within walking distance to most attractions within Cebu City. The double room has Netflix for times when you don't feel like battling Cebu dust, noise and heat. Perfect, I should say, for budget travellers looking for somewhere convenient.

No social area, but I wasn’t really going there to socialise just a quick stopover for a flight.
Rooms were very clean and they had the most comfortable bedding. Aircon was a big + Free laundry!! Done within the day, what more can you ask for.

Highly recommended! It's clean, comfortable, and safe, and the staff is very nice and helpful. It's very well organised. Curtains in the bed, light, sockets, and lockers are available just outside the room. Big room with plenty of storage for luggage.The bathroom is very clean and has hooks and shelf. Good aircon and good internet. Hot and cold drinkable water is available in the room. It has everything and more (hairdresser, iron, free laundry) what you can expect from a very good hostel. Excellent! I'm coming back to Cebu, and I've booked it again!

It’s noisy. The room was next to the reception area and you could hear everything.
Location was great, 13 minutes away from the bus station and good WiFi.

Aircon was a bit noisy and Internet was not working super well. We stayed in a Deluxe Queen Studio and it did not have any outside view.
Location and price are the best things of this place. Hotel is located close to the port where you get the ferry to Bohol and Siquijor and to the main attractions in Cebu. The price is very cheap. Room is very very simple, but clean. Staff is nice and helpful. Works well for a one night stay in Cebu, when you don't want to spend much.

Really central to walking around Cebu. Night market nearby is good and lots of food around. Felt safe walking alone!! Super comfy bed and dark room :) Didn’t use the service but they do free laundry

There is no window inside the room but it was not such a big deal
I only spent a night there and it was good. The AC is silent and really efficient so very well appreciated!!Bunk bed comfy,spacious +curtain,light and plug.Very few noise from outside or inside.Really safe too.Really clean.

- Noise. I think this hostel is a common transit stop so be prepared to get disrupted sleep when others need to wake at 3, 4am for their morning flights. Also the door lock doesn’t seem to be fitted well and kept banging against the lock frame - Pillows needed more filling - they were very thin and lumpy (you can feel individual cotton lumps inside which kept shifting around] - No windows, but that’s ok for a 1 night stay - I think I was the 2nd or 3rd person to reach for a dorm of 6, but they had run out of towels, so I had to use my own - It was a bit hard to find, this sign is not obvious
- Really kind and helpful staff - Clean, even the communal bathrooms & comfort room/toilet - Comfortable bed & blankets - Hot water shower - Free drinking water - Communal hairdryer and iron for use - Good WiFi - Felt safe even though the area outside is a bit sketchy - Super value for money

Was perfect for a one night stay. Clean, comfortable, and safe feeling. The staff were very helpful and the beds were super comfy. I will be staying here again next time I’m in Cebu :)

The hair-dryer was not working and the AC was loud at night.

Location is not very good, by the locals was told to be careful in that area.
Very clean, quiet nice hostel. Had all the amenities, free laundry which was soo helpful, staff was friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and very good ac in the room. Really liked it that I extended my stay! And I am not even fond of hostels.

Hard to find good breakfast food in the surrounding area in the morning, for night time food it was fine with the night market, but a little harder in the morning. If you’re looking for a super social hostel this might not be your first pick, but for safety and comfort they value for money was very good.
Great that it was an only female hostel, made me feel very safe. The security overall was good with lockers with key provided to store valuables, and codes to enter both up to the room and one more to enter the room, which felt very safe. The location was very close to a night market with good possibilities for food! Staff was friendly and nice and helped me with printing my ferry tickets. Had 2 pillows and good AC in the room, and the blanket was nice and thick. Good curtains. Nothing to complain about considering the price. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again if I ever do another 1 night we in Cebu.

The light in the bed is not that bright
Outlet on the wall in the bed. That's for all types of outlets, so it's great. And there's free laundry service that is so helpful!
