GermanyWe had some water issues due to dry season, but the staff always made sure, there was an acceptable solution. Because of the wooden huts it’s of course a bit louder in the rooms from the music of nearby places. Apart from that we don‘t have much bad things about the place.
I liked the cute wooden huts with the patio. It was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Eugene, the owner was super nice and always helpful.

AustriaThe only thing we could complain about was the low pressure in water sometimes, but that seems to be a common problem in Port Barton.
Thanks again to the kind owner Eugene who took the best care of us, we truly believe we found a great new friend in him. Also the rest of the team was always friendly. Free fresh fruit (papaya, pineapple and coconut), free coffee and water, he even offered us some of his own dinner (which he cooked himself, what an amazing chef he is, so delicious) and some drinks and even better talks. The room we stayed in was nice, with a lot of surprising extra amenities, we also enjoyed the general bamboo style of the huts. The common area was really relaxing with a beautiful view in a calm area of Port Barton. Breakfast was really good too, and the personal motorbike we rented from Eugene the best in town. He also brought us back to the van terminal in his car, so all in all the best service we could wish for.

Czech RepublicNot worth the money! You dont get what you are paying for! Price for one night is too high.. No hot water, sometimes even no water at all, very poor Wifi, bad food. *Breafast is dissaster - looks like somebody already ate it before you. *I booked room with bathroom and for the first night I got without, and they didnt inform/explain anything. For the second night, they moved me to room with bathroom. Again, no explanation. So I went to see owner and have a chat with him cuz I was really mad. If I didnt come, I wouldnt get explanation nor refund. *Wi-Fi didnt work properly. Definitely doesnt meet reality of other reviews that internet is good. Definitely no! Rarely you can catch reception there, and Wifi seems like to be working, but then it doesnt, so for someone who need to work, DONT COME. * You dont have any privacy cuz all construction of rooms are from bamboos. And ofc mosquitos are hunting you everywhere. *As is was bamboo construction somewhere are holes in floor/roof, so whole backpack was wet. (I have never had that wet backpack in monsoon times, but now is even dry season.. so I didnt understood wtf) *Definitely its not quiet place as some reviews said.. Close to this accomodation is bar, so once they start to play music you hear everything. Reccomendations: dont expect much cuz you not gonna get it. Take earplugs if you wanna sleep, be ready to be without internet. Be ready for cooler water / or not having a water at all.

United KingdomThe owner Eugene and Rose the member of staff were brilliant. So helpful and even more generous. He gave us a lift to the bus terminal and we left a bag in his car and he brought it back to the bus terminal instantly. He cooked us lots of lovely food. Upgraded us to a bigger room as it wasn't busy. The bathrooms are lovely. I think if i asked Eugene for a shirt to go out in, he would have given me the shirt off his back. Such a gentleman and very funny.

SpainRoom and bathroom were really clean. Bed sheets and towels were new. Bed was very comfortable. Best value for money. Breakfast was really good: handmade noodles. Eugene, the owner, is really friendly and welcomed us with free coffee and coconuts. The place is outside town so it is quiet, just 10 minutes walking to Port Barton town center.

Wow, what a little gem this is! Eugene, the owner went above and beyond to make my stay super comfortable and nice. The rooms are really lovely and cozy, really give you the tropical holiday feeling. The beds are comfortable, you get a bunch of towels, toiletries, there is a big terrace, laundry service, taxi service and even the possibility to do a boat tour. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for a week. Free coffee and water. The food is delicious chinese food made freshly made by Eugene. The staff is also wonderful. Just take into consideration that it’s a wooden structure and that it can be a bit noisy, earplugs solved that for me. There is also no hot water for now. In return you get the best wifi in port barton though! I was sad i had to leave, this was my favorite stay anywhere in the Philipines. Thank you Eugene!
