Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Israel* Some huts were very far from toilets. * Food is good but very very small portions and small value for the high prices. * Extremely hot at night, we hardly slept even with two fans (some A/C could easily run on generators if the camp decides to upgrade) * pickup/drop-off drivers : worst drivers ive had, they both drive recklessly almost 100 km/h on a 40 km/h road , almost hit two dogs and a motorcycle
Amazing location and staff. I’ve visited a dozen of similar concept camps around the world and this one is one of my favorites.

RomaniaThe camp and the island are gorgeous, food and cocktails are delicious and the huts and restaurant structure are something else! I really liked how the menu changes everyday, so you don't know what is going to be served that day. I loved the beach, walking to the other side of the island, snorkeling at the shipwreck, being barefoot all the time. I loved everything! I'm really, really sorry that we stayed only one night.

AustraliaNothing really! There’s no wifi/phone signal and going to the loo in the middle of the night is a bit rustic, but that’s part of being off the grid and switching off 😊
The private beach is beautiful with crystal clear water, perfect for a snorkel and so so peaceful. The rooms are also super comfy and clean, and the view of the beach from your bed is amazing. The food is EXCELLENT - honestly made the rest of my trip hard to compare!

AustraliaToilets didn’t always flush but this was due to lack of water on island. It would have been great if they had a couple of small seats on the hive decks to sit outside on.

FranceToilet evacuation do not work as the comfy ones you have at home, so you might encounter some "blockings" when entering some toilets. But you will always find a spared one as there are enough for everybody.
The stay was wonderful, with only one thing to do : nothing! Apart from eating (the food was wonderful, the best we had in the philippines), and drinking (amazing cocktails as well!) Overall, an amazing place to disconnect and feel far from your usual life. The staff was also very flexible with our timings to bring us back on the main island, which was very appreciable.

Saudi ArabiaI appreciate the fact that healthy living is promoted. However, I should still be able to have a choice whether to have access to a soft drink when I feel like it. The bar does not cater to the alcoholic preferences of multi nationalities and needs more variety. The ablutions that is located only on the one side of the facilities.
1) The privacy 2) The helpful and amazing staff 3) Attention to detail and arrangements ensuring that guests get the maximum enjoyment from visiting this pristine area. 4) The food was really excellent

SpainThe cheapest room (already quite expensive) is a tent, which makes it unbearable to stay inside during the day. Keep this in mind when booking

Beautiful island and resort. The transport was very efficient so getting there and back was easy. We stayed in the tent and, although hot during the day, it cooled nicely in the evening. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. The yoga they offered was great for all levels and helped maintain a peaceful environment. A very relaxing and peaceful stay.

United KingdomThis is a couples luxury holiday destination, there no sense of community between guests and definitely no communication. The food is great but the most expensive food around. A shame when you pay a lot to stay here.

GermanyUnfortunately there were constructions on the property that we didn’t know about. It was a bit loud and bothered if you wanted to rest at the hut at daytime. Also the additional costs should not be underestimated. Food and rental is quite expensive.
Great hotel area with amazing beaches and a shipwreck to explore underwater. The staff was very friendly, food was really really good and the huts were clean and made with a lot of thought and heart. There is no WiFi or cell in the area and it was so wonderful to see everyone spending time together with talking and playing games apart from any phones. Overall a unique experience!

PortugalWe totally understand (and like!) the overall "eco" concept of the hotel, but we felt that there could be improvements to increase the guests comfort (sometimes there was no water / pressure when taking a shower, there is only 1 sink for the all the guests...). Its totally fine if that the hotel approach, but then the price should reflect that... we felt value for money not great.
Amazing location, great staff, delicious food! The hotel is really "unique", with its own beach, very well looked-after and amazing asthetics / design. You can really feel onwers put some thought on it. The bed / room was clean. Arrival / departure logistics were well managed and easy to communicate with staff.
