Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South KoreaActually Shangrilla the fort (BGC) is too different. Makati Shangrilla is also nice to us. Anyway, eventhough we like the fort Bonifacio area, but we will stay EDSA shangrilla continuously.
Excellent buffet, Nice swimming pool, Quiet and elegant garden etc. Almost 100% is awesome. I will visit 2-3 times per year continuously.

Gosh, what was there NOT to like? Our Garden Wing room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! Awesome fully kitted out gym with plenty of space. Breakfast was the best! so many delish-az filipino food choices. The Edsa Shangri La people were all welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful. They did their utmost to make our stay hassle-free, relaxing and totally pampered. Salamat! Location is perfect! Shangri La Plaza with shopping and eateries available only a few mins walk. The massive SM Mega Mall with heaps more shopping and eating choices, also a few mins walk. Method of transport for us was taxis via the Grab app. BGC (Bonifacio Global City) offering even more eateries and shopping amenities about a 5 min Grab ride.

SwitzerlandThe rooms need updating. The garden wing has a beautiful view of the pool and garden but it needs renovations. Our bathroom for example has water stains on the ceiling and in the picture frame. Though, I wouldn’t have mentioned it if it wasn’t a five-star hotel.
Very good customer service at every corner of the hotel and they let you check in before the official check in time if your room is ready (mind you, not all hotels in Manila do that) and generously give you an hour extension when you need it. The staff is accommodating and helpful.
