The rooms themselves were clean and looked like they had been freshly painted, the bathrooms were modern. The reception and roof restaurant felt tired unfortunately. Also the lift was in constant use and bing-bonged every time it was used, this was somewhat disturbing especially when you were trying to sleep and woke us up in the morning.

It was a good location, we were right in the middle of the town of El Nido. Initially they put us in a room at the front of the hotel but without double glazing, the noise from the street was too much, we asked if they could move us to a room at the back which was much quieter. The staff were really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us.

We were in level 3 with some green grassy thing that was covering a lot of the the views.

The property was so close to the beach and off the main area where all restaurant and shops are located. Whenever we feel tired or want to chill out we can walk right back to our hotel everything was so close. Even to go to tours it’s right outside of our hotel.

I'm not sure as to the cause of it, but on the second day of being in my room, the desk area that is under the TV, it was invaded by ants. I notified the room service staff and they cleaned up the area. After that the ants didn't come back, but I just thought it was strange.

I must commend the reception desk staff. They were always very polite, and helpful. I'm not sure if by chance, or if she was the one in charge of the desk area, but Val was exceptional. She was the first one to greet by your name you on your way out/in.

Sometimes the plumbing was a bit weird, toilet only flushed occasionally. This hotel does not have a pool. To rent beach towels, you must leave an ID or room key with the front desk. (None of these bothered us)

Location, location, location! This place is in the heart of El Nido town, and you are steps from everything. The staff are SO friendly and helpful (Sky!), greeting us by name with smiles whenever we came through the lobby. The hotel is well appointed with a quirky collectible toy/artwork theme, and there were fun decorative pillows in our room. There is a rooftop Chinese restaurant that also does breakfast for a very good deal to hotel guests.

There was some loud construction going on across the street but they kindly moved us to the other side of the building. There was a bit of mold in the bathroom.

1- my room has one of those Japanese smart toilet nd it didn’t work well at all nd broken many time which forced the staff to install normal bidet for me coz its a must for me nd 3 hours wasted from moment i got the room till they installed new bidet . that Japanese smart toilet is a no no if bidet is a must for you like me. 2- room was full of ants the more we kill the more show up, i don’t know if that’s s the nature of island or not .

staff were so nice friendly nd helpful bed was too comfy room view was perfect good A/C . area has no fun beach like boracay which was disappointing to me but after sunset area full of life streets to walk on too many restaurants markets ice cream fun places you can do too many things after sunset area full of life . island hopping booked by the resort was so fantastic if you ever gonna do island hopping make sure you visit big lagoon area in ocean . if you want nice beach like boracay then book at vanilla beach in elnido its 12 minutes away from this resort but at vanilla beach after sunset area is too dark nd you are restricted to your hotel restaurant to eat nd drink unlike the full of life area around S resort nd they have mcdonald’s`s at vanilla beach .

Everything was perfect.

The nicest, most helpful staff we have ever met. Everyone, especially the pretty girls, Nicole, Julia and the others. Among the men, Sky stood out with his undying devotion. We spent four days here, the room is large and comfortable, the equipment is very usable. The towels are of good quality. There are chairs, there are places to put them.

The local church played a daily 6am service through speakers which woke us up every morning. Please please please put a pool on the roof!

The staff here are phenomenal. Big shout out to Sky and the team for their warm welcome on arrival and everyday that we were there. This was the best service we received in The Philippines and we stayed in 6 different hotels. The complimentary pick up and drop off to the airport was great, we really appreciated it. The hotel was spotless and the bed was soooooo comfy. Location is ideal, few steps away from the town with bars and restaurants and where all the boat tours leave. The top floor view is incredible but screaming out for a pool, even if it was a small one. Air conditioning was great. Breakfast was available but we ate out each morning, lots of great places near by. We particularly liked Taste for their delicious smoothie bowls. Would recommend this hotel to everyone that comes to El Nido.

We had an issue with some little bugs in the room which was uncomfortable. We had to change our room. The "rooftop"/"restaurant" is not with the same company as the hotel so it wasn't really appreciated and we could feel that the personnel was different.

We didn't like the top floor in the Chinese restaurant, seeing the lobsters stuffed inside a plastic bottle in the barn seemed very cruel to us.

There was a construction right that was making so much noise right across our room unlucky for us.

Such a central and well maintained hotel in El Nido town. We wanted to stay in the city center and S Resort was the right address for this. We came by ferry from Coron and it was 5 mins walking distance from the ferry station. The staff were helpful and friendly. They helped us with the tour bookings and they also helped us with great tips for breakfast and dinner. The rooms were moderately spacious but it was comfy. The group hotels were also really good and we were able to benefit from them such as H Hotel's terrace and Nacpan Beach Resort's beach access. It was a perfect stay for us.
