JapanThe bathroom tiles were slippery. i suggest you provide a removable rubber mat especially at the shower area. No in house restaurant. If you need to eat after bfast has been served, make sure you have a food delivery app to buy your food. Nearest restos are 5 min walk from the property They do have 24H limited beverage service (bottled water, juice and a few alcoholic beverages)
The staff were considerate. They informed me immediately when i booked that the triple room i got was located at the 3rd floor and they hotel doesnt have an elevator. I appreciated the gesture and thoughtfulness because i was travelling with a senior citizen so i was able to change my booking to a room located at the ground floor. The Queen Exec Suite is perfect for a group of 3, with an extra bed.

Good location and easy to find. Near the coffee shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and courteous. Bed is very comfortable and very clean. Well lighted place and with hot and cold water in the lobby. We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Breakfast is really good and many options.

We stayed here for 16 nights, so got a pretty good measure of the place. The room was clean, in good condition and a good size. The bed was very comfortable, and people with bad backs might be pleased to hear the mattress offered good support. The breakfast was good (would particularly recommend the tapa, and the pancakes were nice and fluffy) and the staff were polite and helpful, including getting a tricycle for me a couple of times, and responding swiftly to any requests. It was also nice and quiet during our stay and we didn't have any disturbances to sleep. Would definitely return next time we come back to visit the family.

AustraliaWe weren't expecting the hotel to have no elevator so my Mom who was not 100% at the time struggled to go up and the down the stairs that's slightly steep. It would be very helpful to be informed next time that our rooms would not be appropriate for elderlies.
The breakfast was phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. The room is clean. The staff are courteous and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for us because we avoided the traffic from peñafrancia. We owe our Mom's life to the staff of El Sancho. The assist they gave us was amazing. She had to be sent to the ER in BMC and everybody knew what to do and how to to respond. Thank you El Sancho. We'll be coming back.

United StatesNothing! If you’re looking for a pool and spa, you are not the market they’re going for. This is for people who are looking for a comfortable stay!
My family have so many reasons why we loved our stay in El Sancho - the delicious breakfast, huge puffy pillows, very comfortable bed, great customer service, cleanliness (I can go on and on forever). What I do love the most about our stay is the amazing staff- they are very attentive, they have great communication and very thoughtful! They even provided a crib for my baby so my baby was able to catch up on her sleep after traveling from California. The facility is not only very clean but I also appreciate the quality of the materials, furniture and appliances that we were able to fully utilize in our space- you can tell they were carefully curated to make all their customers feel at home. We were in the queen suite and it’s very spacious with lots of storage. We were the most comfortable during our stay in El Sancho hotel and we stayed at maybe 5 places for our vacation. There’s so much to love about this little gem and I’m so happy we chose them.
