Staff were disinterested, and there was a huge stain on the bed. There was no helpful information anywhere regarding travel or eating options.

The property itself looks good from the outside, location is good and water pressure is strong.

The Staff, seems to be unwelcoming to their guests.

NEVER AGAIN! I made a reservation at 3:00pm and they confirmed it. I even informed the staff about my late arrival. They said it was fine and to just ring the doorbell if the gate was closed. However, when we arrived, they said there was no reservation under my name and they were fully booked. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us and suggested that it was because we hadn't paid. I tried calling the contact number I had spoken to, but no one answered. They didn't even recommend another place for us to stay, and they closed the gate on us, leaving us outside. The next morning, they notified me that they had cancelled my booking. Okay lang sana if maganda yung approach nyo sa guest nyo. Tagal pa lumabas. Nagtuturuan pa.

There was barely any room to put your bag and no lockers. What was the most idiotic was the lack of toilet paper. Apparently, that is not included and you would have to buy it yourself. They sell toilet paper on site but at a higher price than the usual.

The bunk beds were nice as you can still sleep next to your friend/partner/family due to them being two person beds.

We came during the typhoon. The place doesnt have emergency light and the ceiling is leaking. They didnt told us ahead of time that there is no electricity and we were shocked when we get there that they dont have electricity for more than 24hrs.

however, they require a deposit to be paid beforehand with payment methods not being able to proceed for a foreigner. very inconvenient for all international travelers. payment only possible via bank transfer (not convenient at all due to several days needed and highly expensive) or gcash. Our suggestion of paying it via PayPal or by cash at arrival was not replied.

There was no bottled water, staffs do not know how to welcome and thanks guests. Toilet was dirty, bed was uncomfortable. You can hear every sound from others peoples room.

I would not recommend Elmar Cabin. The girl staff was not even smiling when we arrived. She charged us for early check-in, we arrived 1 hour earlier. We got charged again for P350 for the 2 towels that got dirty, but it can be removed with just Clorox. We should have replaced those towels instead. Only 1 bathroom for the 10 guests, she closed down the common bathroom in the lobby even though she knows we have seniors. Seniors need to go up at the room to pee. She didn't even give a discount for the 2 seniors who were our 2 additional pax. No cooking area. You need a car to go around. It's far from the market and other tourist destinations, and not walkable.

The cabin is clean though the pillows and mattress are hard. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of nature.
