The location is excellent- walking distance to downtown El Nido and a scooter ride away from nearby beaches. Elmo and his family were very friendly and helpful and even rented us a scooter for the day. The room was clean and perfect for a quick stay in El Nido!

The room itself was really really hot , the AC was on on the lower temperature(16C) during the day time when we were not at home but after switching off 2-3 hours it was hot( over 25C again ) this is mainly the isolation of the room . There was no window to outside. Location was far from the Center.

The owner was really kind and helpful! The accomodation was clean . We had water and coffee each day.

The bathroom didn’t smell very nice but it didn’t look dirty.

Nice quiet location with a view on the port. Local people playing basketball and working on the boats. Elmo made very nice breakfast for us and arranged a van to Puerto princesa. They were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Elmo‘s Place is a homestay, which I loved. He and his family are so very special. The room is very cute and clean and equipped with everything you need. I got the most amazing vegetarian breakfast every morning with a view on the beach. The place is located about 7 minutes walking distance from El Nido centre which I found great as the town is very crowded and loud. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe to walk there also when it was dark.

Great hosts and lovely family, Elmo is very helpful and knows everything about the area he booked for us the boottrip and arranged transport. The accommodation has all you need and you get what you pay for. The breakfast is the best we got in El Nido during our 6 days stay the area.

We had a lovely stay at Elmo's place. It's located in a local area, close to the city center with a cute view of the local harbor. Elmo and his wife are very welcoming. They offer great service such as an early check in, a lift to our busstop, kitchenware to cut my own fruits and lovely chats with a cup of coffee. Also the breakfast was very tasty and the room is nice and clean. We would definitly recommend this place!

Unfortunately the facilities were a bit lacking; there is no hot water, the water pressure in general is often very low and the AC turns off at random times at night. The location is a short walk (5 minutes) out of the town center. The area gets a bit less refined outside of the center, we didn't really mind but I can imagine others might.

The owners were really nice and they made a great breakfast for us and helped with any questions about things to do. We also rented a motorbike from them for 500 pesos for a day. The price per night is also quite good!

There was very little space in the room to put your stuff. A shelf or something could maybe help a bit since the table is quite small and everything has to go on the floor around otherwise. The AC was very very loud - we already had this kind if AC in a few accommodations in the philippines now so it seema to be kind of a "standard" one but nevertheless it was almost impossible to sleep until after 1-2 nights you kind of get used to it a bit. If you turned it of, it got hot real quick in the room so that was not an option. There is only cold water for the shower. This might be ok (even though it would be good to mention that in their description,so people know before booking) but the bigger issue was, that there was so little water coming Out of the shower, sometimes even nothing so it was not possible to shower... Elmo mentioned that it depends on how many people already used water that day since the tank might be empty at some point. Maybe there is a way to improve this since not having water in your shower at all or if lucky just a tiny bit was annoying.

Elmo and his family are very welcoming and kind people which supported us if there where any question. We could book our Day trips with them and they organized a trycicle when we needed to get somewhere since the accommodation is not directly in the city center Overall everyone was very helpful and kind. The breakfast we got was amazing! Definitely the best breakfast we had in our whole stay in the philippines & cooking skills are a 10/10. The bed was comfortable and we could hang our wet clothes infront of the house which was great. Also they have a really cute dog (Barsa) that loved to be snuggled all the time. The view from the seating area is nice since you can directly sea the ocean.
