Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesI wish you could open swimming pools til midnight for those who wanted to spend an extra hour at the pool and your private beach til there was light. 6pm is still early, we can still enjoy the sea til the sun sets in.
Facilities of the hotel are well maintained and cleanliness is observed at all times. It is so nice that you have a private beach for those who wants to keep out of the crowd. Breakfast buffet is such a feast and taste good. Personnel are courteous and helpful. Special mention and thanks to Ms. Leth Catibog from your F&B department for making the simple birthday celebration of my kid special and memorable.

GermanyI stayed in building nine and in my opinion it was way too noisy for a resort. From 8am to 10pm there was always something. The main source was definitely the pool with all the people and the permanent music. So just be careful in which building you stay in. Just let them know what you prefer and they make it happen.
It is very secluded. It is very lovely. It’s like a dream. The staff is super friendly.

New ZealandThe lighting in the room was a bit dull and possibly need some bulb changes. The other bit that came as a surprise was when the net went down although it only took about 15 minutes, it would have been nice to have be told about it.
It started off indifferent however, once we checked in and got comfortable, I realised its actually a very nice place. Unfortunately I don't give 10s other than for location even if this place is a 10.

PolandWifi could be better. Had few disconnetions during each zoom/teams call. Some of the buildings and swimming pools were closed (six swimming pools where open, which is more than most of the hotels have in total).
Best Value ever. Spacious hotel, few swimming pools, good quality, great personel.

PhilippinesFar from the public beach although shuttle services are provided free up to the main gate. Have to wait for 10 minutes or more to get a ride.
Staff are welcoming and helpful from checking in. Private beach inside the resort a few minutes away, a plus as only guests can occupy. Swimming pools are a great addition. Some attractions inside and restaurants. Free buffet breakfast(included on the price booked) with several food choices was excellent.

AustraliaThis resort is huge and you need shuttles to move around the area. During peak hours the queue starts to become long so patience is really required.
-The resort has the most welcoming and accommodating staff. From the day we arrived up until the day we left, the staff has been very attentive and helpful. Since we arrived an hour before our check-in time, they collected all of our luggages for keeping so we can have a comfortable lunch before checking in. -Our room is near the main lobby/pool/cafe/playground which I think is good for families with kids. Advantage of this is you don't need to ride a shuttle to have your breakfast in the cafe.

AustraliaThe buffet breakfast can improve. most of the time the items were running out quickly and people had to wait in long queue for things. the dining area is also small. there was only one omelette station and sometimes people were waiting for 20 min to get an omelette. The cutlery was running out very quickly. One day the bread was finished by 9:40am. These things can improve.
The facility has six pools. We stayed just opposite to Cabana pool. The rooms were big and spacious and clean. The pools are very clean. The infinity pool has amazing breathtaking views. We attended the foam party in the Laguna pool at night. It was lot of fun for kids and adults. The resott has its own private beach and a golf course. We are vegetarians so we struggles with breakfast menu, but chef was happy to make a special request breakfast for us. the resort shuttle is amazing for roaming around the facility as it is a huge place.

CanadaThe shuttles and not being able to walk anywhere. The place is huge and there were no sidewalks anywhere around our buildings and you had to take a shuttle everywhere. That meant waiting up to 15 minutes for a shuttle. The shuttles were nasty vehicles to ride in; stinky, hot, crammed with 10 passengers in a tiny space and a big step up to get into. You also had to be bent over to make the step so you don’t hit your head on the door frame. There was very little for western food. Breakfast (included with the room) in the morning was super crowded and they sometimes ran out of the basics. The few restaurants they had for lunch and dinner were overpriced. There were not many people eating at the restaurants so that should say something. Go to D mall to eat. Lots of restaurants there. We ate at the Epic restaurant on the beach, which was awesome. Great food, great views and reasonably priced. The pools need loungers and umbrellas! There’s very few chairs and even less umbrellas. The private beach was not very nice, either.
We had a very nice one bedroom suite. The staff were so good: Chryzette, Joralyn, Anthony, and a very long list. We did have a couple of the security by the front reception shuttle location that were rather rude but this was an exception. Mostly, the staff were awesome.
