Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandWhat an experience. Beautiful and incredibly comfortable glamping. Even better than the pictures. Thank you Nel, what a wonderful and friendly host who even lit a bonfire for us! Tasty breakfast overlooking the rice fields in the morning. We only booked last minute and overall it exceeded our expectations & great value. Great for couples or with a bigger group of friends. They provide free bikes where idillic Nacpan Beach is a 5min drive away.

SingaporeThe tent zip was broken, so I was not possible to keep mosquitos outside They kindly changed the tent for us, but also the new one had a broken zip. The toilets were infested by mosquitoes, really not pleasant. The scooter we were given was very likely a stolen one: no plate and the key had clearly been forced. The pickup from El Nido is offered, but then you have to pay the owner of the camping to get a ride back to El Nido at check out time: the price is fair but would be nicer if it was more clearly stated at booking time.
The place is located in the nature, really a nice place ! The place provides scooters to visit the island: this is great, it gave access to hills and beaches out of the beaten track. It was really a unique experience ! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Romaniait needs a renovation after the pandemic. it had clean bedsheets and pillow cases but the pillows were mouldy themselves as if they weren’t used in a while. bathroom was clean but looked a bit shabby and had wasp nests which needed fumigation and removal not just sprayed (we are both allergic so it was a bit of a health hazard when the wasps came back after 4 nights). we did not mind the ants, as we are in nature, but the place needs a proper trimming and gardening for it to really look more welcoming. free scooters are a plus, but only for the ones who are confident with them on unpaved roads. water pressure very low, barely enough to wash the sand from your hair for example.
very nice and helpful staff! spacious tent, they had toiletries and clean towels. we booked the tent with semi-private bathroom (this means sink is outdoor), would recommend it, we stayed 5 days. 20min walk to Nacpan Beach is nice in the morning (avoid hot sun at midday or after sunset).

DenmarkNeeds some more maintenance and cleaning. When i went to the toilet in the morning there were ants all over the toilet. Some of the toilets had lights not working so they were too Dark to use and were not fixed during our two nights stay
Good Price and super Nice with the included motorbikes.

United Arab EmiratesThere were loads of bugs everywhere (normal, you may say . since you are in a tropical environment) but it was beyond expected: there were frogs inside the toilet seat and thousands of ants roaming around everywhere but especially also around the toilet seat. The facilities were not clean, maybe because we were the only people staying. The showers had no power at all. There was nothing around the accomodation. We ended up staying only 2 nights out of the 4 we were supposed to stay.
The room was very cozy and it was pretty clean and the environnment of the accomodation was really pretty as well, watching the stars was incredible. Breakfast was lovely.

NetherlandsI think it was partly due to the rain and electricity shut downs but we were not very comfortable in the tent. There were a lot of animals, the water quality around el nido is horrible (we got sick) and nothing would dry in the tent.
The idea of glamping is nice but maybe not the best option in the Philippines

GermanyLocation is really quite off and hard to reach in the darkness (after 7pm), especially if you aren’t experienced with riding a scooter. It was hard to sleep during one of the nights when it was windy outside.
Nice concept

United KingdomIt's a little overpriced for a small tent
The staff are really friendly, and the location is really quiet. It's a good place to stay for a few nights. The location is good - an easy scooter ride both to El Nido and to Nacpan Beach.

Netherlandsthe location, if it wasn’t for the motorbike would be quite difficult to go in and out of the beach so that’s something to consider (30min walking on a very bad road, even for motorbikes) ; roads in the area are particularly not that good, we had a small accident on the way to Duli beach so I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re very confident riding motorbikes in any condition; there’s not really a lobby/common area to chill apart from the restaurant so you’re either in the tent or in the restaurant area, which is nice but sometimes you wouldn’t have the privacy to do whatever you want there as there would always be someone ready to serve or talk to you, which is a good thing but also doesn’t give you so much space to be in silence.
We had the tent with private bathroom which was incredibly nice, with the tent on the upper level, really well set up and with a very comfortable bed, fan and the bathroom was super well done and clean, in open air and with warm water. there was also a hammock and little table/chill area downstairs. Raffy and the staff were super nice and welcoming, always ready to help and serve us what we needed, they cooked to us on request for a dinner and were there to support with any issues.

BelgiumSo, we stayed a total of 4 nights, this is too much. The tents are nice, and are the same as the picture however the tents are durty on the outside and the inside on the « ceiling » of the tent there are stains, but since you can barely stand in the tent you always touch the ceiling, this thus needs to be cleaned and it was not like that for our tent. Since you live in a tent all our stuff were humid all the time, even days after moving our bags still smelled humid. I do believe that staying there one or two night(s) is perfect and you will have a very good experience, especially since the staff is so kind and tries to help as much as they can.
I am a little bit mitigated about the cabanas de Nacpan. First of all I want to say that the pictures do not look the same as in reality, I do believe the place once looked the same but with wear and tear it does not look the same anymore. It still looks good but not as on the pictures. The staff on the other hand was very kind and would do everything in their power to help you, there is also a free scooter with the room which is very helpful since the location is very far from El Nido. The breakfast was good, the banana pancakes were very good!

FinlandTo begin with, the whole place was unhabited for two years during pandemic, and it shows. The tents, mattresses and pillows were moldy and caused the air inside the tent to be thick and smelly. There was no internet connection and no Wi-Fi available, which seems like a necessity at a rural place like this. Connecting to this, the staff wasn't available during the day, so the guests were left to look after themselves. The location is rural and roads to both of the closest towns are difficult to navigate via a motorcycle, and although this isn't on Cabanas, it is worth mentioning that a novice motorist can have a hard time. It should also be mentioned that activities offered on Cabanas's Booking page aren't offered by the property but arranged with someone local.
The staff, when around, were very kind and hospitable. The food was cooked at the location and was excellent! There were also some friendly animals there, which created a warm environment. The views from the property were lovely, and the addition to be able to use a motorcycle was great.
