I’ve been traveling with my friend in Southeast Asia for the past 3 months & FatLips was the nicest place we’ve stayed since we’ve been traveling! We were so excited when we walked in because our room was so clean & modern. We loved the surf decor & the map of the surf spots in Siargao. Tim & Apple were so welcoming & quickly became friends. The doggos (Mia, Tiger, the puppies) were so friendly & loved coming to hang with us on our lil outdoor porch area. We had such a wonderful experience and next time we’re in Siargao we definitely will be staying at FatLips!!

We had a great stay at Fat Lips. The rooms were very modern, spacious, and clean. Enough space for two people to live comfortably. Each room had its own little patio and water tank for drinking water. The shower had hot water and good pressure. And both Buboy and Tim ensured our stay was perfect, with easy coordination for check in (we were even able to check in early) and check out. Highly recommend!

The boss and employees are super good, very enthusiastic, and provide a lot of help. The room is very cost-effective, but unfortunately, it was only scheduled for two nights. If there is no room behind, I have to change to another place. I will come again next time.

I had a great stay at Fat Lips. The team running the place are super nice and friendly. Special shout out to Tim, the owner, who comes with big smile, great advices for surfing experience also gave me a ride when I arrived to find a motorbike to rent. Overall a nice person to hang out with in the mornings while making breakfast in the common area. I know I have a friend when I go back again to Siargao. :) Lest to forget mentioning about two absolute adorabale friendly dogs, Mia & Tiger. Location is great. You will find the sign on the street and after a 1 minute little adventure you'll find the place. Very close to surfing areas, like Cloud 9, etc., close to Cafés and a nice BBQ. Rooms are clean, comfortable and and facilties are new and in good condition. Good internet (starlink), good AC, good shower, the rooms come with a fan and a light which could be used during electricy cut-off. My room had a big balcony that made my stay even more pleasant. I'll be back!

We loved our stay at Fat Lips! The room is incredibly comfortable and spacious, we loved to have good coffee and drinking water always available. The bed is so big! The lodge is surrounded by beautiful plants. I loved the location, so close to cafes but away from the noise. The staff is very sweet and helpful, always ready to help. Can’t wait to go back to Siargao and stay at Fat Lips!

It was very hard to find because it’s in the middle of a wood but the owner said he is working on some signs. Also we had some ants in our bathroom but that’s normal in the woods. The bathroom drain is very smelly - we did cover it but if you don’t the whole room was smelly even with closed doors.

The hosts and employees were all super friendly and helpful. The room was very big, clean and the bed comfy. Good AC and the shower is nice. Also you get as much towels as you want when asking. The owners dogs are super cute and always came to greet you. The price is fair for what you get.

Staff leaves at 4 which is not a problem but it does mean you have to address any needs before this time. Place can be a challenge to find the first time but once you get it it is very simple.

The property is new and well maintained. It is a lovely little spot with lots of greenery inside that lets you feel like you’re isolated while still being close to Cloud 9 and General Luna. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. Tiger, the lodges dog is an added bonus.

I had an amazing time in Siargao and it was mostly thanks to my stay at Fat Lips, absolutely loved it. The Lodge is in the heart of Cloud 9, close to plenty of restaurants and the famous break, but also tucked away so it’s super quiet and relaxed. The room is really spacious, clean and comfortable. But the highlight of my stay was the Lodge manager Buboy! He was the best guide during my stay, absolutely going above and beyond. He took me to beautiful surf spots, restaurants and attractions around the island, and offered heaps of extra suggestions and local insights for things to do and places to eat. The whole team (and especially the owner Tim) were friendly and welcoming. It was also super helpful to rent a good board and bike through the fat lips surf shop. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Since it's newly opened, there's a few small inconveniences (like no sign from the main road, no hand towels etc. (I'm a spoilt brat)). I addressed these to Tim and Buboy and they immediately took them on and already shared their plans with further making the lodge an even better place.

A surf lodge hosted by a long time established surf shop in Siargao - you know you're going to have the best time. Has everything you need. Clean, spacious, beautiful surroundings, nestled inside a very quiet local neighbourhood away from the main road. The BEST thing about Fat Lips are the team that runs the place. Tim, the owner, is super knowledgeable and accommodating, and always out there surfing with me. Always good to yarn about anything and readily takes on any requirements or suggestions. Buboy, the lodge manager, welcomed me into the lodge and it was just amazing to be able to chat so freely and immediately he wanted to take me out surfing. We went on many surf sessions together, essentially being my guide! The team really made my trip amazing, I can't wait to come back! Stay here if you're in Siargao.

As soon as we checked in, we were informed that there was an issue with the running water, which was then treated with adding chlorine to their water tank. However, the owner put so much chlorine in it, that we weren’t able to wash ourselves with it, for the entire stay of four days. The smell of chlorine was very offensive and burnt our skin. I wasn’t able to wash my long hair and couldn’t rinse out my clothes. I ended up using 2 litres of drinking water to wash myself which wasn’t enjoyable but okay. The owners acknowledged the inconvenience and compensated us with a dinner voucher at a nice restaurant. The air-conditioner was extremely loud and impossible to run during the night. Luckily there was a fan available as well. The outside sink and the communal kitchen were dirty and there was dog and human hair on the bed linen. The coffee mugs and glasses in the room were also dirty. Scooter rental was available through their surf shop but for a higher price and we would have had to walk there for 30 minutes. We got a much better deal close to Fat Lips Lodge. They also offer airport transfer and the same day tours like everyone else. But unlike everyone else they charge you more for exactly the same. You end up on the same van or boat as everyone else but end up paying more. Don’t do it!

The property is situated in a quiet area and close to Cloud Nine Beach. The room was spacious with a big balcony and a water dispenser in front of the room. The bed was comfortable.
