Rooms got a little warm even with air conditioning. In the upstairs 5 bedroom dorms the toilets & showers were not nearby

My stay was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home. The place itself was top-notch, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Plus, I had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful new friends during my time there. Definitely recommend!

I like the friendly vibe in the premises, from both the staff and even the guests. They had nice menu for food and drinks. This place is also credit card-ready, unlike other places where you have to meet a minimum spend. They also have scheduled activities at night!

The location is perfect ! Close to the restaurants and the beach . The bed is super comfortable and everything was super clean. The staff helped me to take a cheap tuk tuk to the airport .

Nothing in my experience

The hostel is so close to White beach. The rooms are clean, spacious. The staffs are so amazing, they really welcome you like they have known you for a long time. It makes the stay more enjoyable because of how jolly, friendly the staffs are. Plus, the nightly activities. I met a lot of people around the globe, so memorable. I celebrated my birthday in Frendz and it was so memorable esp when all people were singing happy birthday to me with the band and they even gave me a tasty birthday shot in flame. Haha. The island hopping was pretty good as well. I enjoyed it so much. It is indeed a FRiENDZ hostel. Will be back soon.

Everything was great!

Really welcoming and made you feel at home from the beginning! So easy to meet new travellers and the staff are amazing at breaking the ice with you in order to help. Full day Happy Life Cruise Trip is amazing and unforgettable. Rooms are very clean and tidy and lots of space of your in a private room! Cheap drink and be prepared to sing in a karaoke lol

The hostel, the staff and the food( breakfast, lunch and dinner) was absolutely amazing. We spent one week there and throughly enjoyed our staff. Would highly recommend to everyone. Air Con was fantastic, rooms were always cleaned to such a high standard and the staff in general were fantastic throughout.

Layout of the room as some beds are downstairs and some upstairs- was really noisy when the people sleeping upstairs came down to the bathroom/ to go outside with there shoes on the wood. Found the room really stuffy and hot too.

Staff were very friendly! Literally a couple mins walk to the beach. The food and coffee at the hostel was a bit pricey but everything I ate there was amazing. The sunset boat cruise with the hostel was really fun :)

Everything… my sister enjoyed a lot because at night people will gather in the bar to play billiards, sing or just chat with others.

The staff are nice and even showed my sister some of the tourist spot around.

Nothing. Same as previous reviews, the street going to the hostel and the beach are rocky/bumpy and dark at night, but it's not their fault and it's beyond the hostel's responsibility.

If you are a solo traveler, this is a very good place for you to have fun and meet other solo travelers. They host fun events every night, without being disruptive since they lower the sound as night gets later and events are finished at 11pm. The location is very near to the beach, D'mall, stores, and restaurants.

A water cooler rather than having to ask to refill would be a great addition

Great property, aircon, pool area, can buy hot meals on site. It’s a very social hostel but not too party either, lots of evening activities and the boat trip is great fun. Highly recommend if meeting other travellers is the aim!

My only complaint was that my mattress was not that comfortable. It was a bit saggy and sunken.

What an amazing place! I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels and this is hands down one of the best ever. Lovely staff, gorgeous, clean, and peaceful surroundings, and the food and drinks were amazing and so cheap. I didn’t want to leave!

The alley to the hostel is really dark, not flat and seems dangerous. There is a construction side currently with 4 or 5 floors and sometimes debris and water falls from the top down in the alley. If you are just walking there it may hurt you, but first it is pretty annoying and frightening. Especially in the dark. But this is just the way to the hostel. To be honest I cannot say anything bad about the hostel itself. :)

I visited frendz hostel in El Nido too, so I thought..why not trying? It was build completely different than the other frendz in El Nido. It is a flat structure, they have a pool, a billiard table, multiple toilets and showers. There is just one trip available, but it is very fun with nice weather! Boat trip with snorkeling, beach volleyball, food, activities on the boat like small games, music, dancing and also drinks. It is perfect to get to know the people who stay with you in the hostel. It ends in a sunset cruise, which is a perfect end. Every day there is a different activity planned in the hostel. It is also close to the beach and then you are directly in the middle of the tourists. The people working there are amazing, really nice, helpful and fun. Additionally, food and drinks in the hostel do not cost too much and are very good! Loved the Shashuka breakfast and the charcoal pizza margherita. :D
