They didn't have proper shower curtains in our bathroom so the floor tended to get soaked.

The room was so clean, loved the friendly staff and atmosphere. They were very helpful. The rooftop views were amazing. They always had an event planned each evening and they play amazing tunes.

The 302 room door was broken, once 2 guys got in thinking it was their room but it was a 6 female dorm. The shower curtain is too short so the bathroom gets wet when you shower. There is no way to hang the telephone shower in a high position so you shower with one hand and rinse with the other. The staff at the restaurant ignored me everytime :(

The place has a very cool vibe, they have a lot of games and dynamics every night. The dorms are comfy and clean. They have a private bathroom inside the dorm but there are also more showers and toilets outside. Location is perfect! Also they have the Haqqy tour agency near reception, which can take you to the best places around.

We are a family travelling with 2 kids and chose to stay at Friendz due to the location and we thought it would have a good vibe. We had a great time throughout our week here. The staff were lovely and helped us out with future travel arrangements. Our son turned 9 during our stay and they surprised him with cake, balloons and of course a song. We had a fantastic tour with them out to the islands as well. The place is lively as expected being a hostel geared more towards younger travellers. However everyone was lovely to our kids and us throughout our stay. We can't thank the staff enough for making us and especially the birthday boy feel so welcome.

The WiFi can be a bit dodgy and slow in some rooms. It is fairly loud towards the evening if you are on the first floor but they turn off the music at half 11 so everyone can sleep which we appreciated. Maybe request a higher floor if you want to go to bed earlier.

Great hostel right in the middle of El Nido. Perfect for socialising and meeting people, has a great restaurant at the bottom and chill out spaces. Rooms are clean, fairly large with big lockers. Lots of toilets and showers so you don't need to wait either.

Everything was perfect.

This is an amazing hostel with a beautiful roof top pool and bar. The food in the downstairs cafe is very good. There is an office right beside reception where you can book day trips to see the beautiful surrounding islands which was very convenient. I checked in at 8 and was able to join a tour for 9. It’s very easy to make friends in this hostel which is ideal for solo travellers.

Not necessarily a ‘dislike’ but as the name suggests, the place is a hostel and there are a lot of young people there to party. If you are looking for somewhere chilled, you may be better off looking elsewhere. That said, as a couple in our 30s, we still enjoyed our stay. Private room wasn’t necessarily cheap.

I wasn’t able to book a private room for my last night, WiFi doesn’t work and they refused to give us any other WiFi passwords aside from the one of the floor we were staying at.

The view from the rooftop is great, the private rooms are spacious and clean, I had so much fun! Make sure to book a tour with haqqylife! This is a party hostel so you should take this into consideration before booking. 🥳
