Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumA little bit expensive for what you get, there are better options in Baguio that offer (even) better value for money.
Friendly staff, small but comfy room with a nice small private terrace. Very central location in Baguio. The coffee and cakes were delicious too. Not our favourite place to stay in Baguio but it was decent and offered reasonable good value for money.

Saudi ArabiaThe room given to us is small. I dont know where its coming from but there's something bad smell in the room, maybe from the carpet or air conditioning. The carpet it self looks dirty.

PhilippinesIt is located in a less dense area, and so not much traffic. It is very near the market so we were able to buy vegetables and fruits on foot..The wifi was also strong. It has a good size of a balcony where we can see a good view of the city. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I can come back for future vacations.

PhilippinesBefore the trip I called them to ask if Kennon road is passable. Suprisingly they don't know. And so convenient to advise us to pass Marcos highway which will make our trip long. On our arrival, I was hoping to take a rest when we arrived and got into our room but the front desk staff keeps on calling over the phone 2x to inform me that I need to pay more and then suddenly no more breakfast for us. He even knocked in our room to make me sign again . I need to jump back and forth to the super elevated bed. Linens and towels need to retire. Valet and room attendant are nice. Others doesnt bother to greet at all

PhilippinesIt didn't have a mini fridge which doesn't make sense since tourists rarely stay for a few hours. A lot of us go to Baguio to buy fruits and vegetables 🤷 There was a coffee station but for the room price, instant coffee or a few bags of tea would have been nice. Initially there were only two pillows. For a boutique hotel, two pillows per guest should be more ideal. Luckily there was an availability of pillows at the time of our request. There was a faint but annoying smell of kimchi in our room. I don't know if that's the reason why you left a disinfectant spray in our room or if that's standard practice but the kimchi smell stayed till we checked out.
I loved its location. The balcony was such a plus. The bed and linens were so comfortable and the staff were really accommodating.

PhilippinesThere were like only 2 sockets available in our room, and we thought there would be cabinets to store our stuff and a small fridge to store food. It would be better to use your phone data as WiFi's unstable and disconnection was frequent. Our air-conditioner encountered errors on our first day, too.
The place is very accessible to restaurants, 7/11, and SM Baguio. I love their breakfast choices, too. Moreover, the staff responded to my queries promptly; they were very accommodating before and during our stay. 😊

MalaysiaThe water wasn't hot enough in our room. Baguio generally tends to get cold at night. Combine that with a rainy night, I really needed that hot water. Not sure if this is common in The Philippines but there is absolutely no parking space where you can park your car yourself. Valet parking is available (where they park your car in this very small garage packed with other people's car) and it was great but just a head's up to those who will be bringing their own cars there.
Excellent customer service, very clean & comfortable room, yummy breakfast. The location of the hotel is also very good as places like the mall, laundromat, convenient stores, atms/banks are at a walking distance.
