I really wish there was an electric fan available or provided. I struggled to sleep as it was warm for me.

Staff were quite accommodating. We had a change of heart with the rooms and they agreed to swap for a fee. From native houses we transferred to modern stone rooms which suited our family (senior and children). We also had late lunch and everything was fresh and tasty. Each dish was actually good for 2. Funnily enough my favorite part of the accommodation is the amazing bathroom/shower.

The bathroom facilities needing upgrade such as the shower hot and cold water supply. Need to have a tea and coffee maker installed in the hut.

The uniqueness of the Ifugao ‘nipa’ hut is such an amazing experience to stay for couple of nights right up on top of the mountain.

Breathtaking views on the Banaue Rices Terraces Very nice natives huts with toilets nearby. Restaurant on site. Possibility to have organized private trips. We chose 1 dayx2pax tour in the Rices terrasses (Batad and Banawe) and 1 day trip Apo Whang Od. Very interesting trips but pricy. Recommended!

Cleanliness of bathroom and limited food offerings. They should offer more food options since there are no other place nearby to purchase food.

Worth the Experience, but Know What You're Doing!
    • Leisure trip

    • Stayed 1 night

To be fair, there wasn't anything I disliked. Having said that, I'm glad we stayed only one night because having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night was inconvenient, especially for someone my age (68). To reach the huts, you would have to go through a small village; they are not next to the main highway. Being away from the Center of Town was a negative. However! I knew all this before going, so it is not the fault of the accommodation. My reco would be to stay one night, enjoy the surroundings and the vibe, and then move to another hotel closer to the town center. We were fortunate that we came with CODA Bus line because they stop at the Tourism Center, where I pre-arranged the next day's tour. If you don't, it would be a bit of a hassle.

I wanted to experience an authentic Ifugao hut, and I did! It was fun and interesting, and restful, because there was electricity inside to charge phones and lights all around the hut, even going to the bathroom at night. The bathrooms were clean and modern but separated from the hut, which is as it should be. Otherwise, if the hut had a bathroom inside, it would not have been an authentic experience. The views were wonderful, and the food in the restaurant was fine. It was very peaceful and quiet at night, that we overslept! The owner and her family were very nice and welcoming. I'm glad they are in the hospitality business because I was able to fulfil one more thing in my bucket list...

It’s the little things like there is no drinking water in the huts. There is also no hot water unless you buy 1 thermos of hot water which will take you about 150 meters going down. At night, it gets cold and you would want to drink hot coffee. Using extension cord is also prohibited when there is only 1 socket inside the hut.

We like that we get to experience how to live in a native hut commonly used by Ifugao families. The food at the restaurant is also good - tastes like food cooked at home. The lady in the restaurant is friendly and accommodating. We also like the tours to the rice terraces although it would be good if the tour guide briefed us on what to expect so we can make some decisions what to do and not what to do.

Just my personal opinion. Would like to had more tea and coffee making facilities and more variety on the menu. Saying this the food I had was excellent, I certainly did not go without.

All staff encountered were amazing. Friendly, engaging and very accommodating. The location is amazing with breathtaking views. The room was comfortable. Toilet and bathroom facilities clean. Car parking onsite convenient. We took a one day tour arranged through the Inn. The process was made very simple. The itinerary provided and we were well prepared for the tour. The transport picked us up as arranged. John was our driver for the day and Jonalyn our guide. The tour was amazing. Jonalyn ensured we visited the most vantagous locations for photographs while giving a detailed account of the local culture and history. The treking across the rice terrace then down to the waterfall was a good workout, Jonalyn ensuring it was at our pace and that we enjoyed the breathtaking scenery. I can sincerely say the tour was probably the most enjoyable I have ever taken during a vacation. I gladly give 10/10 for the itinerary, value for money and guide. Thank you for making such wonderful memories for us. I would certainly consider staying here again.

We purchased our stay with breakfast included (an additional 900 PHP for two people). On the restaurant menu breakfast was A LOT cheaper if ordered separately. We asked to receive our breakfasts at the hut due to the limited mobility of one of our party. We were not offered any options for breakfast or which coffee we preferred (granule vs local brewed). For 900 PHP I would expect a choice and the higher quality coffee. Also, as wifi is reliable, it may be useful to add an option to contact the restaurant via whatsapp/similar to make an order, as it was necessary to walk down and back up the substantial hill.

The view is stunning from the accommodation and all up the hill. We woke up to view the stars (shooting!) and the sunrise. Absolutely outstanding. The accommodation itself is very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were better than expected. 'Room' service to the hut is a great addition, especially for breakfast.

Due to the great view it's far out of the village (trycicle or car needed) and better to drive there at daylight. The price for my stay was very high and the breakfast not even included. This made me wonder if this is fairly priced in comparison to all my other stays in the Phillipines on this trip.

Just an amazing experience to sleep in original native houses and additionally having this breath taking view. Definitely an experience to suggest even tough there is obviously no luxury or modern standard. It's well maintained and the staff is friendly.
