Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

PhilippinesThe only notable experience that I didn't like was that I was kind of like profiled by one of the security guard. The other guard was friendly, but the other one I guess was having a bad day.
I liked that you provide refilling stations of water at the hotel. The room itself was clean and comfortable to stay in. I also liked the fact that it was walking distance to the event I went and to a nearby mall.

United StatesOur family stayed in 2 rooms - Family and Deluxe. While the Deluxe bathroom has a glass partition between the toilet and the shower, the Family bathroom is so open that it floods all the way to the bathroom door. While during daytime, there were several gracious and friendly front desk staff, on the evening we checked in very tired from our Pacific trip, there was only 1 staff and our family waiting a very long time to be attended to for check in.
We stayed at 2 different weeks and found the property to be very minimalist. No phone in each rooms where we stayed in. Instead, we connected through Viber with the front desk. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there is a 7-11 store just by the main entrance and a variety of good restaurants are within the walking distance. The staff were all friendly and helpful once attended to.

AustraliaNo instructions on how to run the TV - not easy for someone unfamiliar with system- you need to call room service to get it to work. I don’t use Viber but this is the hotel’s preferred way of communication- I call the hotel’s direct landline when I need something or I personally go to staff for requests. There also wasn’t any fridge in the room.
Close to transport, almost in heart of the city. Convenient walk to ATC mall, supermarkets, restaurants & chemists. There’s a 7-11 right next to hotel lobby where you can buy snacks, toiletries & has an ATM as well. Friendly and helpful staff - from Security, front desk, & housekeeping staff. Also love it that hotel provides access for drinking water - hot or cold.
