Each bed had nice privacy curtains. A great, spacious, furnished and clean kitchen I could use (I was so tired of eating out!!) and a gym!

Often there was loud music in the hostels inner courtyard. It wasn’t disturbing at all times but sometimes it was just too much. At 11 pm it was always quiet! :) Unfortunately the shared bathrooms were not clean. Our rooms was in the first floor - the shared bathrooms we‘rent close by.

The room we had, was well equipped. There was a nice gym, free for the house own guests.

Omg Beth!!!! The sweetest receptionist (or what you would call it). She is the best! In general the staff is so sweet. My skirt got ripped up, and then on of the staff sew it together without any cost❤️The dorms are good and have curtains. It is nice that there is an open kitchen everyone can use, so you can make your own food.

We had some Roaches in our room… maybe because there Are no mosquito nets in the Windows and the gap under the door is big.

Very nice and welcoming staff!! They helped us with everything. Our shower was broken and they fixed it very fast. We Rented our scooters from them for a good Price.

Great vibe, slightly tucked in from the main road, much more quite and chill than the neighbouring party hostels. Has an adjacent outdoor gym and a communal kitchen. People are friendly and easy to connect with and the staff is awesome.

dorms were pretty awful, no curtains or plugs. beds creaked loudly at any moment. only like 3 or 4 fans for a 12 person dorm so was very hot at night.

The first room we stayed in had a few openings in the walls so insects/mosquitos could come in easily. A mosquito net over the bed would have been helpful. The second room was a lot nicer. The restrooms/showers are a bit aged but do their job well.

The staff, especially Neil, was super helpful and relaxed. We were welcomed into a nice community. Also Ilakai has its own gym, which is very convenient.

Dorm is too small for number of people with too few toilets and showers. Lockers not available for every guest, but if ok with leaving stuff outside no bigger problem. Generally, staff is friendly and helpful. Still, certain staff members just shouldn‘t work in the hospitality sector as they make guests feel uncomfortable.

We got cockroach in our room. We mentionned it to the staff but they saod they have never seen amy before. We check the kitchen the next day and it was full of dead and alive cockroacj so be aware ! At night some guests came back from partying and made a lot of noise, the staff wss jot there to manage it.

- Location: The road to the hostel is bumpy and muddy, really need a motorbike with good skill - Environment: The bathroom can be cleaner, there's no hot water and hairdryer

- Location: The location is good, really close to cloud 9 and General Luna - Staff: Super friendly and helpful - Environment: The room is spacious and the bed is clean and soft - Atmosphere: Homey and cozy, good for solo traveler since all the peopel here are friendly and easy to make friends here
