I would recommend looking into the kitchen/cuisine improvements. The resort has the potential due to its location, why not make it a favourite place to eat? For us, the breakfast was not good, the choice was poor. You don't want to eat heavy fried stuff or pasta for breakfast. We ended up eating eggs every day, as you have a cheff to prepare it for you to your liking. We didn't go for dinner here. Maybe next time, if it improves? 🙂

The resort is in great location, just a few steps from beautiful Lio Beach. Resort is nice, clean and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable with enough space for our stay.

It’s fairly new but there’s a lot of things that were already out of order. One of the rooms smelled like a dirty bathroom the whole time. Wifi wasn’t working.

They must have improved their breakfast options since some of the reviews I read. I thought there were plenty of western options. Cook to order Omelette bar, cereals, bread and waffles, fruit. The location couldn’t be beat. Just a few steps from beautiful Lio Beach. Ice cream hour is a great idea too!

The best part of Isla Amara are the staff and the services given by the staff. They were very nice and were always ready to help with regards to different concerns like resort facilities, room service, booking of transportation and tours and etc. They are the ones that really stood up during our stay at Isla Amara.

The water pressure of the bidet was a bit powerful for private areas, noise was a bit excessive at night and early mornings.

The hotel had a good variety of food for breakfast, the staff was very nice and helpful, and the location was great relative to shops and the airport.

The taste of breakfast food was little bland maybe because it catered to the taste buds of foreigners. Tocino was too pink. I was hoping for tapa or corned beef during the weekend with fried bangus. Bread station should have a variety like buns or pandesal with cheese.

It was ok for free breakfast. Coffee was good and the egg station was great too.

It's the farthest resort away from Corong downtown at least 15min tricycle Php300/one way. However it's 5min ride to airport. Shuttle service only available if you book directly from hotel otherwise it's extra fees. Selection of food is limited and sometimes food items not available. Quiet and family oriented place. Clean, organic safe and comfortable place to stay.

We asked lady on the reception to make a motorcycle reservation for us for next day and she didn’t. In the morning we figure out that she doesn’t and all 3rd parties were fully booked, she didn’t let us know.

The hotel is new, clean, comfortable, staff very nice. Room was big and very stylish. Around the hotel is many restaurants and beach is few meters away.

The king size is two double beds put together. It worked but you can tell when you lie down the mattress difference.

Overall our stay was pretty good, what made it not as good is the keys to both rooms malfunctions multiple times, the safe we used malfunction the first time it was used and the food’s flavoring could be better and the road leading to the hotel is unpacked and didn’t look as presentable.

What we liked is the beautiful decorated rooms they had. It felt good walking in it the very first time. A wonderful room we can call home away from home. We also liked the pool and the reception area with polite and happy staff. In addition we like the breakfast and the ability to have someone make omelet, although it could used more flavoring. The
