There is a bit of a walk till the main centre of the town, but is not bad.

But, I had the first room from the street. The noise from the street was extremely loud. First night many dogs were barking and fighting. Very annoying and early early morning around 4 a few roasters started their wake up routine😂 try to avoid room 101

Nice little garden, with a small kitchen incl. fridge to use. Room is big and hot water in the shower. Airco works well. Staff is really friendly, they want to help you with transfer/tours/suggestions. She even made us a little pancake to try. Amazing and delicious. Overall a nice place. O would definitely recommend this place.......

The property is a bit of a walk from the main town and the beach close by was more for wading than swimming. Lots of rock.

Place was really nice. Room had air conditioner and TV. Clean and secluded. Was a great value compared to the others we stayed. Just wish it wasn’t just one night.

The host offered to arrange a tricycle for us to the bus station, but we ended up paying him an extortionate amount for it. Bit of a shame as we’d enjoyed our stay up until then.

Not a negative, but rather stating the fact: it's loud at night. Dogs, cicadas, frogs, and gods know what else.. Ear plugs are a must if you're not used to it.

I didn't mind that it was 1km outside of El Nido town, once I found it. It was difficult to find as there is no signage and the front gates were closed.

Very clean, comfortable bed and proper doona, comfy clean pillows, hot modern shower. Wifi good enough, aircon works. A haven, compared to what is available in El Nido.

The location was hard to find at first because only specific trike drivers will go on the crazy road to get to the location. But one we understood where to go it was very enjoyable.

Very cozy little spot hidden away from the main city but surrounded by the locals and other resorts on a unique beachfront road that you wont believe is the only way to get there.

Good location, away from busy El Nido city. We were lucky as we were the first guests! Room was big, tidy and very clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful, they were helping us to book tours and also helped us to rent and get a scooter which was delivered and collected to and from the property.

While this hotel offers a charming, off-the-beaten-path location on Caalan Beach, it does come with some considerations. Reaching the beach by "tuptup" (local jeepneys) can be challenging. Many drivers might not be familiar with the area. Additionally, the hotel is situated near a rooster farm, so expect a pre-dawn wake-up call with their crowing. Be aware of these factors if you prefer a more centrally located or quieter stay.

It is a good hotel, with friendly staff and spacious rooms with cupboards and a washing line for me to dry my clothes. OK shower with decent pressure and warm water.

Although a pleasant stay, the Aircon felt very far from the bed meaning it's effect was limited and there was no access to drinking water. There are lots of stray dogs in the roads surrounding the cottages and they were very noisy in the middle of the night - I know this isn't something the hotel can change but it's something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper.

Room was big and we were able to check in early which was great!
