Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesMaybe, it should take out the "for adults only" in its name and cater to families as well. I was there with my daughter and was intimidated at first.
The place was nicely laid out with individual cottages and rooms. The place gave a tropical vibe. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and among the best I have encountered. The location is also just 5 minutes of the town proper which makes it very convenient.

GermanyInternet, i hope they can improve it, i can understand it is a small island but i hope they can provide more internet router to boost the speed. The room is not sound proof i can hear the people outside. If they are talking or starting the engine of their motorcycles. Like for me which is very sensitive with the noise, if I can easily hear the people outside i will be awake and having a hard time to sleep again.
I like the people they are very friendly and honest, our stays were very good. It's good to be home. The food i can say they are very good. I love the Salad, the quantitiy of the food was small for that price bjt it was good. Facilities was very good, they have swimming pool and front Beach.. The view was amazing

Singaporebeachfront and accessibility During our first day of stay at the Last Frontier, the bathroom floor drainage is choked and we informed the reception area immediately regarding the issue, and we were told that they will fix it the next day when we go on tour and we also inquired if there’s room availability as we would like to be transferred but according to the staff they are currently fully booked and she will check if there’s availability with other rooms the next day or if there’s a cancellation then they will let us know. We came back from our tour and they still fixing the toilet in our room so we were informed that they will transfer us to a deluxe suite as there were cancellation with the booking and I asked them if we need to pay extra for the transfer and we were told no additional payment needed. The next day when we are settling our bills with the receptionists, one of the co owners of the resort was there and he apologised for the inconvenience cause. We told him it’s okay as they rectify the issue immediately. Definitely will recommend this place.❤️

AustraliaI loved we had a beach front cottage! We were really lucky to have the cottage with the beach/ pool view. The cottage was bigger than expected and presentation was nice once we arrived. It’s not far from town but far enough to have a quiet nights sleep. If you wanted to go into town you could catch a tricycle in or hire a scooter from the hotel for the day which allowed us to see more of El Nido. The staff were very accomodating and super nice and happy!

PhilippinesProperty entrance in the inner area of Corong corong, tricycles have hard time to enter but not really an issue as the property has great beachfront views.
The bed, they had the most comfortable bed setup I had so far in my travels. The hot shower had good water control and the bungalow was spacious. The staff were great, really helpful and attentive. The Beachfront view was as beautiful as the photos. The property has few rooms so you can feel the exclusivity of the place. Bella Vita just next door, you can enjoy amazing pizza and pastas.

SingaporeThe only issue we had was the internet connection. It was very important to us because we had to do some work while we were there. It could have been improved although it was understandable due to it's location but I wish there was a more stable wifi connection. Other than that the place is perfect!
What we liked the most was the view at the restaurant. It was very relaxing and there was no better way for us to enjoy breakfast with that gorgeous view. The hotel's staff were amazing, they were attentive and hospitable, and made sure we were having a great time during our stay. The place is quiet at night, but also not too far from the town. There's also an excellent pizza place right next to it, literally just a stone's throw away. The hotel is just a 10-15 minutes motorbike ride away from Las Cabanas Beach where you can watch the sunset.

CanadaNot a complaint, but while this is a beach front resort, just dont expect the type of beach you can lay out under the sun on. This is more water-front if anything, but still perfect for what we wanted
The staff were very good, everyone was very helpful and friendly. The hotel staff also arranged for our tours and van rides to P.Princessa. Bar staff made delicious pina coladas and the breakfast was great. It was a nice quiet and romantic stay and I cant say enough with how pleased we were.

CanadaThe location was good for accessing different parts of the El Nido area. The hotel has a small number of villas and about 4 rooms in the villa. The villas had nicer verandas with hoses to rinse your feet that the standard room did not have. Therefore it’s never going to be crowded with people. The hotel restaurant provided free a la carte breakfast each morning with fresh juice and tea or coffee which was good. The seating area near the beach had comfortable chairs. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathroom was rustic (indoor/outdoor feel) but had modern fixtures and lots of space. the minibar was well stocked and very affordable. The staff were all very friendly and brought fresh aloe for a sunburn and arranged a taxi for us to the airport, saving us money when they asked if it was okay if we share with another guest who had the same flight. I would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomThe transport arranged through the hotel to collect us from Puerto princessa airport was 2 hours late. No apology from staff upon arrival which I was a little bit miffed about. Also, I don't feel like we should've paid full price after being kept waiting for so long, if we knew we'd have left at 3pm and not 1pm, we would have arranged a shared van and saved ourself 4000 pesos. Also, every day we were finding lizard droppings in our bathroom along the sink area from what was obviously a fairly big lizard. Few ants in the bed when we arrived too. Just the kind of stuff you come to expect in the Philippines so it wasn't a big deal at all.
The hotel had a really nice vibe to it. Only a few rooms on the site so it felt very intimate. The grounds were really well kept, with lots of nice trees and plants lining the path from reception all the way to the beach. The staff were super friendly, especially the guy at the bar (didn't catch his name). The rooms are nice, bed was comfortable and multiple seats on the decking outside. Location is good. About 5 mins trike ride from el nido town so it's nice and quiet without any difficulty getting around. Trike was 100php each way. Lovely italian rest
