It was a very nice time here! The rooms is very nice and big. All the people that work here is amazing and the hostel is very well take care of. The wifi work amazing in the lobby (easy for any work requirement) and the hostel help you with anything you need. We ended staying for 10 more days here because we really like it.

The room was fan only with no aircon. Also the breakfast included was eggs. If you don’t eat eggs your only option was toast

Bengt and Juli have created a little peaceful paradise. It is everything we looked for. Quaint and quiet. Plus they helped us with everything from transport to info on where to go and book dives. We had and amazing time staying with them. Finally, the cat and the dog is really cute and cuddly.

They were having some issues with the water supply while we were there which they did their best to rectify quickly. Also the town had frequent brown out (not their fault) fortunately they do have a generator for backup power.

Nice place, neat and clean with helpful staff. Also affordable for simple fan rooms but includes a simple breakfast also.

I loved the stylish rooms, was great to have your own balcony, the room was cool enough with a fan as you had double doors you could also open to let in air. Breakfast was perfect, staff were happy to help with recommendations, transfers and motorbike rental. They had refillable water there 10p per litre which was really handy.

Such a lovely place to stay with super friendly staff. Breakfast was also really nice and included in the price. We booked our tours and travel with them which worked out well. Would definitely recommend!

Can’t recommend this hotel enough! It’s in a great location, has a lovely courtyard setting where you can chill in the lobby and get good wifi. The complimentary breakfast is also fab. The rooms were airy bright and clean! The staff were so helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here in the future !

Lovely place. Clean and comfortable. Rooms are airy and come with a fan. Cold water showers but that is all you need here. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Close to the beach. Plenty of eating options nearby.

The walls were not soundproof at all and we could not sleep with our neighbours were watching anime in Spanish so loud we could not sleep haha the bathroom drainage system wasnt great so we we would end up flooded even after a quick shower. It can get a bit loud from the basketball court behind but we didnt mind!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a decent size with private bathroom and a balcony. There was a common area downstairs which we used to work on our laptops in the evening. The place felt very safe. Breakfast was very basic but better than nothing.

Wifi could have been a little stronger but was fine in/near to reception. We had the room with the fan which was fine but an aircon unit would have been nicer, our clothes never fully dried well.

One of the best stays we've had in the Philippines. Excellent location to everything in Port Barton, we walked from/to the bus terminal, around 5-7 minutes. Very friendly and super helpful staff. We booked an island hopping tour through them and we also paid for the laundry service (our clothes came back excellent). Great basic breakfast in the morning. We even asked for it a little earlier on the date of our checkout as we had a van leaving for El Nido at 8am and they kindly cooked it for us. Great clean room as well as shower/toilet unit. Comfy beds and we felt secure.

One of the more expensive places I’ve stayed at in the Philipines. They made a booking error so I couldn’t stay in the private but but instead got their personal guest room. The room was comfy, they provide amenities and the cold shower is great. Because of the booking error they provided me with a delicious home cooked meal the next day. If interested in this one, check out their other hotel Backpackers Hill Resort. Offers the same or maybe more comfort for a lower price. I loved it there.

Very nice property close to good eats and the beach. Exceptional owners who offered to problem solve the festival noise by offering us accommodation in their other property on the hill. The festival noise was not their fault at all Comfortable bed and adequate bathroom Decent breakfast included Booked our island hopping tour for us Would recommend this hotel if you are in Port Barton
