AC wasn't that cool enough. Water pressure was very low. Location was difficult to find as road construction was being done.

Room was clean, but i would suggest better cleaning on the terrace and a definitely better cleaning in the kitchen. Cold shower. Staff non existent, we only saw someone in the morning, but a lovely neighbor helped us to check in (keys are waiting on the table, next to the entrance, and you need to leave you key at the table after the check out, so full trust ;) This property is located in the Hipodromo barangay, there is only one road into and out of it, so Ayala shopping mall is 20-25min walking distance. Also, it looks dogy when you are there for the first time, but we felt absolutely safe, you have some shops with all the necessities, bakery etc. This is a small city within the city with a small self-sufficient community.

Great location, in the middle of the city, a lot of shops near by, lovely roof terrace, free drinking water. They also offered us a free breakfast (not mentioned on the booking website) which was a lovely surprise - rice, sausage, egg and coffee. There is a kitchen that you can use. Quiet at night, ac, hostel inside is modern. Great price.

The location wasn't the best, the bed was uncomfortable, I was there two nights and never saw an employee. Some of the photos from the ad weren't from the real location.

I didn't know there was a free breakfast so that's a bonus! The staff were so accommodating and nice. Worth more than the price. I especially loved the rooftop where it's so cozy and cool! Overall, the stay was worth the price considering it was also the Sinulog week festivities.

There is no window in the room. Location is not very good as it is very local area. No hot water in shower.

Theres no tissue , the blanket , no kettle inside the room you have to go rooftop for the qater and hot water , no coffee available no coat hangers for the cloths

The room was too hot, and at night there was too much noise from the locals and dogs barking. The bathroom sink was partially falling off and the toilet flush was weak.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the locals in the area was also very friendly. The roof open area was nice and spacious and had a decent view of the area.

I really enjoyed the simple breakfast and coffee, and the host was friendly and helpful. Great roof-top kitchen and outside dining area. Wifi is also available. I appreciated the soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toilet tissue. The people I met in the community around the guest house were good to talk to and some gave directions or casual conversation or watched to ensure all was well. I used Grab to get to and from the city cente.

Only small window in bath room. Location is hard a bit secluded, ok for budget Travelers but you'll have to do some walking as not many taxis go into the hippodromo.

Comfortable room with AC and private bathroom. Has some seats on the roof and in the hallway to relax.

The room very little and simple but clean and no insects :) The very steep staircase with very high steps not so confortable There is almost no contact with the owner. I sent a message to them at 5pm to say ill check in at 10:30pm but they didnt reply, and when i arrived there is nobody for check in. Hopefully the neighbours helped me to contact them and they came after 30mn to give me the room. if not i was sleeping in the street! I saw them very shortly for breakfast and for my laundry. For the check out at 12 noon there is nobody there i just put my key there and go. They dont reply at the messages through booking.com and there is no cellphone number to contact them But this is details and my general feeling is good, its one of the best cheap lodgin i got in Philippines

I liked its walking distance to Ayala mall and near to North terminal,and only 45mn from the airport. Its a very good place to go anywhere in Cebu. The price is very affordable 34€ for 2 days with free breafast on the rooftop is pleasant. The rooftop is also a nice smoking area, with a kitchen where its possible to cook and free cold/hot water. I like also the quater inside the little streets very filipino style and lots of little shops around for all yr needs with filipino price. There u can eat well for 2€ When u go there your taxi will find the guest house with the GPS and there is arrows magabelle direction in the streets arround. I like also the laundry inside with a good price :) My gf came in the morning and they made the 2 breakfast for free knowing i was in a single room.. Its nice from them, thank you Its also quiet place and you ll sleep well

the location and the owner is not responsive on booking. for the location, it's very hard to find. even Taxi's are not familiar. but for a tip, just mentione it is in Hipodromo and the st joseph. the residents know where it is
