We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Nice location in the middle of coconut trees . Rooms clean and spacious . King size comfortable bed . No TV . Big balcony with view of beach , pool and ocean. Internet good on balcony and a bit spotty in the room but generally ok ( able to stream Netflix ). Breakfast could be more imaginative and there were quite a few errors in the order . But breakfast is delivered at the balcony or near the beach if u want . Staff friendly and helpful . My request to confirm pick up was left unanswered three times but finally that was sorted out . I recommend booking the rooms with view rather than the garden rooms , even though they are the same . Just better view

Philippinesthe location was superb. it was around 5-8 min ride from the town, and there were a lot of restaurants nearby. BUT we didn't have to go out to eat dinner since it was also very near our fave resto. the breakfast is good as well, i loved their coffee. :) everything just seemed perfect; from the room, patio, resort's bar, beachfront dining to the service. Everything spelled "perfect vacation" <3

Very good location - close to public market and maremegmeg beach, this is also near the area for the boat tours. There is also a popular pizza place beside the hotel. The beach in front is ok for morning walks. The pool is also a nice place to hangout good after whole day of island hopping.

ChileWe booked a bungalow with sea view, but the bungalow is in front of the swimming pool, and yes, after the swimming pool, the restaurant and a bunch of trees, you might get to see the see reflection. The windows of the room where so damaged/blurry, that even with a view, it was not possible to enjoy it. The shower was not working properly, also noise came from the drain. The breakfast was not OK, very disappointing, and not worth it. We were lucky to stay in many nice hotels in the Philippines and Mahogany has a lot to improve in quality and service.
The areas of the resort and the swimming pool are beautiful, not too many bungalows (so not very crowded) and it is located right next to the beach.

United KingdomThere were wild cats that were fighting every night very loudly and kept us awake. I had to go outside to scare them so they run away. I feel like night staff could have done that as it was super loud, everyone definitely heard that. Also gardener was coming every morning at 7am to clean the path around our bungalow which is good, but we were having breakfast at the terrace at the same time every morning and he didn't wait for us to finish eating, just worked around which wasn't very nice, felt that we had no privacy. The internet didn't work at all in the room, the only place you can get wi-fi was the bar and reception. Finally it was our honeymoon, and the property asured that they will prepare the room for honeymooners, however there was no aknoledgement at all. We spent 9 nights which is quite a lot and no one even say congratulations. We had a special holiday anyway, but it was sad that they didn't care at all that we are celebrating once in a life time occation and didn't make any effort to feel us special. A welcome word would have been enough, we were not expecting free stuff.
It is a beautiful location, even though you can't swim in the sea as it is so shallow and boats are parked there, the sunsets were lovely. The stuff was very nice in reception and in the bar. good food in the bar at decent prices. We loved individual little houses and oportunity to have breakfast in the terrace.

United StatesWifi does not work well in rooms at all. After traveling for 30 days in the Philippines unfortunately we encountered not so friendly staff and the poorest customer service than anywhere else we had stayed on multiple islands. The staff at the front desk were not that friendly but not overtly bad however the staff at the restaurant beach bar were horrible. We ordered fish and chips and it didn’t come with the aioli sauce and upon request what seemed to be the bar manager rolled his eyes at us and asked if we can just use Sriracha instead for the fish and chips. After we mentioned we really would prefer the aioli it was supposed to come with (per the menu) it ended up arriving from the kitchen quickly so I’m not sure why we got all the huffing and puffing from a simple ask. The aioli was delicious and truly made the dish so it was so necessary to have asked! There was also bats that sleep right above the doors of the room and poops everywhere on your shoes if you leave them outside the room.
The rooms were beautiful and the location is great.

LithuaniaThe price of the hotel, compared to the quality, is extremely high. Breakfast must be chosen in advance - 1 hot dish per person plus coffee or tea and juice. If you want fruit, you have to pay extra. But the point is not the price, but the fact that the hotel costs like a 5* hotel, and the services are at the 2* level. The bath towels in the room have been used for about 20 years I think :) - they used to be white some 10 years ago :). To cover up - only a sheet, so it was too cool for us. The pool towels have been washed so much that they are already worn out. The pool is beautiful only in the photos. The reality is different. The quality of the Internet is such that in reality they should indicate that there is no Internet, because it is impossible to use it. A big awkward room with a big bar inside - who needs one?

PhilippinesDespite booking the premium villa, it turned out that the door's bottom railing was broken/misaligned which makes the closing/opening of the glass door very challenging. Also, because of this broken railing, it was too hard to lock the door. Our stay could have been more pleasant if this door railing was fixed prior to our arrival. It took the maintenance team about 2 days to replace the broken railing which almost cost us our island hopping trip (our day 2 in the island) because we were unable to close and lock the door by ourselves and needed to find maintenance team to help us close & lock them. That was the only disappointing part - paid a premium villa but arrived with a defective door railing causing stress.
Receptionist was friendly and courteous. Maintenance Team was accommodating and apologetic when we raised our concern regarding a broken door railing.

SpainThe beach towels had stains on them. The Wifi connection was very poor. Some nights the electricity went off and the emergency light (inside the room) didn’t let you sleep. Most of the staff didn’t speak English which impeeded communication at some moments.
The room decoration was very beautiful. The pool area and the beach bar made you feel in paradise.

United StatesLocation of the hut which I was staying at says sea side view but really it has a pool view since only two huts have a clear view of the sea. The beds weren't the best 2.5/5 rating if comfortable, pillows will follow suite with it. The front if the drive way when you enter the hotel is in disarray where it feels like you will fall out of the motorbike if you lean just the right way.
Loved the view of all of the islands when the sun was just right. Peaceful and quiet. Good breakfast and very close to the city. Staff was very friendly and quite talkative.
