I like everything about the property. Our room was artsy in a nice way. Our bed and pillow were inviting and of good quality. the staff were hands on and courteous.

the breakfast could be w more choices. although staff also offered to give rise instead of bread. would be appreciated if there is a kayak one could use. walking from the main road to the entrance could be a bit difficult for older people or after rain. so there should certainly some improvements. water in the area is not so good anymore due to the many hotels now around you won’t enjoy swimming there anymore very much

Great beach/bay view. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Bungalows are specious, clean and comfortable. Nice to walk a few minutes over the beach to find nice restaurants like Bella Vita (italian) and the Last Frontier with stunning views. El Nido is close by with a 20min walk or take a tricycle.

we liked our stay here sooo much that we were only supposed to stay two days but we extended to three more. we were treated like royalty, the staff provided excellent customer service- they took care of everything! we were situated at the beach front. the view was stunning- sunsets, boats, yachts and the water was about 5feet away during high tide, and goes way back during low tide. accesible to everything! very nice restaurants around, bella vita was a stones throw, the beaches can be reached by Kayak liek seven commando, papaya, honda beach and i think Lusong lusong beach. all by kayak! breakfast was decent! staff also provided a trike driver who waited on us but didnt demand for higher fares! 15 minutes from Maremegmeg beach where the party scene was - your choice wether u want some peace and quite or want the busy touristy beaches. other things we liked: back up generator- didnt even notice there was an electircity outage refrigerator wifi- super nice as we had to work some nights and days hot shower- works VERY well safe water- never got sick from the bottled water there nor the water they provided unique shower- may not be for everyone ( couples only) cozy and homy and romantic within kayaking distance of tour beaches or private beaches walking distance to where the tour boats start but not close enough to be noisy and crowded took care of everything from kayak to rides to water to food to tours to stor suggestions excellent customer service was not noisy at all. very relaxing location no obnoxious sellers. very respectful sellers and vendors IF they come around overall excellent stay. we will always come back here to Maligaya! special mention to Ian and Bev and our two kitchen staff and our cool driver Poy. oh they took care pf pir van transfers too! very hassle free!

Access from taxi drop off on main road to accommodation can be a little confusing as you walk through a local village and can be challenging for older guests or large luggages or on rainy days on slopes. Kayak hire should be free given no facilities but it perfectly ok given unlimited time hire. It can be a little noisy late at night or early in the morning as its located within / right next to a local community especially roosters haha!

Excellent for clean basic facilities with authentic beach front accommodation. Lovely friendly and very attentive staff who made the stay memorable! Living with the local community at your door steps was an experience by itself. Waking up to sound of waves, beach front sea view and friendly local Villagers, and a skip and a hop to a quick swim in clear water from your bed was awesome!

Maligaya only serves breakfast so if you want to grab lunch or dinner, you'll have to go someplace else. However, there are also a few restaurants near the hotel (about a 2-3 min walk by the shore) and the town is only about 5 mins away by trike. You'll also pass through a dirt path from the main road to get to the hotel entrance which can be slightly inconvenient if you plan to bring wheeled luggage.

I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was—shoutout to Ms. Beve and Sir Ian, who graciously accommodated our extra requests! Because of their hospitality, staying at Maligaya felt like a home away from home. Aside from their service, I loved how the place itself is very quaint and secluded, which is good if you want some privacy. The beach itself isn't the best place to go swimming, but Maligaya offers kayak rentals if you'd like to explore the area more. You can also book your island hopping and land tours at the front desk, which we did and greatly enjoyed.

It’s a steep walk to go from main road to the bungalow. We also did not like that the tv in our room was not working.

What you see is what you get. The place is very nice, quiet and the staff are willing to help about almost anything. Bev is a very nice host.

The service was great we were welcomed above our expectations. The wifi was amazingly fast, never saw such fast wifi in my live over 250 mb speed. The room was spacious and cool, bed was great. And overall i would prefer this over any other expensive resort i experienced in El Nido

More pamphlets or advertising on places to visit. Suggestions on where to shop. Kayak availability since there's two in the hotel. Just a word of caution: If you plan on having many large suitcases, be aware that there is a somewhat steep climb down and up into the hotel from the street.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Everything was working well. The place is well maintained. Felt like a local which is what we liked. The things I wanted the most for a location to stay was A/C, internet, and hot water. This had all three. So perfect for what I wanted.

The garden and sea view room and a very obstructed view of the sea that was disappointing.

The staff were wonderful! The location on Corong Corong beach is lovely and peaceful and only a 10 min tricycle ride to the main town. The room and terrace are really nice but basic - no hand soap, nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom etc.

Wonderful stay at Maligaya, staff was super nice, friendly and helpful, on the beach with some nice bar and restaurants at a walking distance and close to both el nido and La's cabanas. Breakfast also recommended and also very good price! We would definitely stay here again!

The staff is amazing, they made our stay so nice! They arrange everything for you (tours, scooter rentings..) and are doing their best to make everything perfect ! The place is perfectly situated, in between the city center and the beaches. Highly recommend this hotel!

most things were great - what was not, the owner fixed it for us :) just be conscious that most accomodations run on generators as the power goes off at some times/hours in El Nido, and that some services may not be 100% working 25/7
