Honestly the best place I've stayed in my entire trip. The house itself was just amazing. So beautifully decorated. The bed was comfy and the area is super peaceful and quiet. Was a bit worried about insects, but there was none and everything was pristine clean. The garden is a huge plus with tropical plants all around. 100% recommend Ps: special mention to James who helped us with everything and was super friendly

The wifi and electricity sometime get unstable but that's the whole island's problem due to Siargao's current facilities structure

The location was close to most of Siargao's main attractions. Also, James - the host was very attentive and helped us a lot.

I loved the Mango Tango Villa for a few days a lot. The interior is lovely and you instantly feel welcome here. Staff was always friendly and very helpful.

the wifi didn’t really work. I had no hot water in the shower. an extra bath towel would have been nice as well. during my second night, I also discovered some kind of bugs in the bed. I don’t think it where bed bugs and I wasn’t bitten. but the feeling of having bugs/flees in the bed wasn’t super nice. the house seemed very clean and hygienic, so nut sure where the little bugs/flees came from.

The best stay we've had in the Philippines, everything was perfect + Absolutely everything. The villas are tastefully decorated with boho vibes and super clean. And super romantic for couples like us. Loved the outdoor shower and the bedroom interior. The bed is so comfy also, we slept like babies. The hosts Bahia and Amber were very accommodating. They helped us organize a van transfer, our land tour around the island and also surf lessons with Stewart who was a great instructor Location is great in a quiet area, just what we needed after the hustle of the city Would recommend to anyone

we love the location away from the noise. we have this big garden where we felt the privacy. bed is so comfy we had the best sleep plus the minimalist room, all the greens from our bedroom view theres so much good thing to say.

When it rains, road can be a bit wet and muddy but you would care less because you have been wet all day. Also, since Siargao is an island expect some bugs and mosquitoes as they thrive in the environment. pro tip: mosquito repellents works.

The accommodation is perfect to relax and get some good night rest from tiring day of activities in Siargao. It is very clean and beautiful and quiet. 😉

We LOVED everything about the property! it’s the perfect place for your stay in Siargao. Its a self contained unit with everything you could possibly need, from a fully stocked kitchen to a beautiful semi outdoor shower. it’s a short drive to cloud 9 as well as amazing shops and restaurants. We just loved it! The owners are also amazing and replied promptly to any request - the helped is with scooter hire, surfing lessons and airport transfers. We will definitely be back

We really loved the place, beautiful mix of local vibe but with great design and aesthetic. The house is super clean and the place is quiet and peaceful. We stayed in different places in Siargao and Mango Tango is definitely our favorite, probably the best Wifi we had in the island. We loved everything there and wished we would have stayed in Mango Tango our whole time in Siargao. Big up for the 2 French owners, lovely girls and very helpful.

Love the charm of this place. Does not give you the routine chain hotel vibe. It's out on the back road tucked in the jungle, away from all the noise and loud bars of the main road so we were able to enjoy the calm of nature! It's next to amazing breakfast places. The owners were fast at answering all our questions. Highly recommend this place. We will come back for sure!

- Villa 2 does not have a front porch as indicated on the pictures. Only, Villa 1 has such porch and while booking there is no way to select between both Villas. Got allotted Villa 2 unfortunately. - Air condition is directly placed above your head when sleeping and as loud as a jet starting. Not possible to sleep with AC on. - Noisy neighborhood: loud music at night from surrounding properties and traffic noises (downstairs it was quite, only noisy on the second floor). - Since the AC is only upstairs it is above room temperate downstairs - No back-up generator in an area known for brown-outs resulting in us not having light, water, toilet, electricity on one evening for app. 4 hours.

Short version: It is very ins-looking but not convenient to actually live a life there Long version with details: There was a water pit blocking the gate all the time. We had to squeeze in between the fence and the coconut tree in order to get in (not to mention we had a suitcase). I understand the road in front of the villas is public but it's part of the experience. Maybe some stepping stone would've made our lives easier... The apartment is not cleaned properly. When we arrived, the toilet was very wet and a boiled egg was in the water heater. We also spotted a big dead ant in the fridge. The AC was pretty noisy :( The location is sort of in the jungle. It is quiet at night but there is a construction lot next door, so it's pretty noisy during day time. It is difficult to get a Toktok because of the location as well, you probably need to walk for 5 mins.

There were a lot of cooking materials: several different kinds of pots and dishes The villa was well decorated. We took some great photos. The landlord and James responded very timely. James helped me retrieve my contact lens solution. He's really nice and helpful.

unfortunately we had heavy rainfalls and there was a lack in the roof which ruined all my white shirts. we got a 17€ reduction of the full price which was hardly anything… also if you are a light sleeper the air con is nothing for you :(

It was very difficult to navigate getting into and out of Mango Tango during rainy stay. Many other properties have elevated stepping stones or wood planks to help guests traverse the ankle height+ floods after a heavy rain. Unfortunately, this was not the case at Mango Tango— at the minimum, umbrellas and ponchos would have been a thoughtful amenity for the space’s price point. There was no one on-site at all during my 3-night stay nor was there any info or recommendations for nearby places to eat, tours etc. Yen, the receptionist from Mao Mao Surf Resort just down the street was an absolute savior for this! 💟 There was excessively loud music being played by a local karaoke bar for literally 36 hours+ straight before it being turned off. While it started during New Years Eve (totally understandable) it continued playing at the same volume straight (no breaks) through until January 2nd- it became too disruptive. Once made aware, the owners were VERY receptive and apologetic immediately tried to diffuse the situation which was greatly appreciated!

The bungalows were decorated with sweet boho touches. The owners were readily available when contacted and super kind!

photos were a little deceiving because there are two different rooms photographed, making you think those are the two beds. In fact, you only get one bed and they have a mattress hidden under the bed frame. the pictures of the two rooms are of two separate villas. if you actually have four guests, everyone will have to keep their things downstairs. also if you’re not keen on bugs or frogs, I would not stay here. one of my worst fears are frogs and there was literally a frog that fell into the bathroom and was climbing the walls. the bathroom was open to the outside (which I didn’t think about being an issue) so there were multiple times that frogs came inside the bathroom. also plenty of bugs that got in the upstairs although we only opened the door to walk in and out. I’m personally not scared of bugs so that didn’t bother me. be prepared to see cockroaches, spiders, beetles, etc. if those don’t bother you, the price makes it a good place to stay.

THE PRICE WAS AMAZING. that’s why it’s at a 7/10 vs 6/10. there’s also AC although there’s only one small unit upstairs so the downstairs stays warmer than room temp. The villa was decorated well, clean, and have responsive hosts.
