Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesIt is very far from everything, 2h30 to and from the airport which is a lot when you have a few flights before/after plus the transfert is costly (3500 pesos each way).No shops or restaurant around, you can only use the on site restaurant which has limited choices for a bit expensive prices. Bathrooms are basic but it is ok for a few days.
You are far from everything, so it is great to relax and forget about everything ! Staff is super friendly and there are dogs around which is nice as well. It is worth doing the Islands hopping tour ( 1400 pesos/person) as you can swim and snorkle all you want.

GermanyRemote means there is really nothing else like restaurants around. And basically only one road to the left across the walking bridge and one to the right. No other restaurants to try. I paid in US dollars but the rate was very bad (15% commission). But since you have no ATM around I had to agree.
This resort is off the big roads which comes with the advantage that you are embedded in a Filipino neighborhood. You have a nice stretch of beach. And the bungalows are basic but I found them better than the houses. The restaurant is ok but don’t expect a rich menu. Breakfast was ok but included. The staff is really nice and helpful and you can do some tours with them. The island hopping was a great experience. They organize also taxi to places in Palawan.

United Arab EmiratesNo WiFi in the rooms, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Quiet and right on the beach. Staff are fantastic! Great place to just relax. Christian, the dive master really took great care of us on a day of diving, and the diving was as relaxed as the resort. WiFi in the public area was more than adequate for me to keep up with online work commitments.

Greece• It’s better to take the shuttle from the airport because there is huge possibility of getting scammed. •No toiletries provided. • It’s far from the market and the access is difficult. It’s better to have groceries before going here. Otherwise you’ll be forced to pay so much at the bar

United KingdomOur house did not have AC. During night it was tough to sleep. My parents were living in the bamboo house and it was much better ventilated. I would stay there next time. However the lighting in the bamboo house was fairly poor, but we did not stay much in the room anyway. During the day it is far to walk to have a swim and potentially lots of rocks on the way. Located far away from the big towns or shops. Which is good and bad at the same time.
We were looking for a peaceful and nice location before we leave the Philippines. After hectic streets of El Nido, it was perfect place for it. Very decent food and beautiful views with opportunity to see marvellous sun rise. Great hosts as well. All our requests were fulfilled. Thank you very much.

SwitzerlandNot the resort's fault, but you can't swim in the sea. It's just too flat for that. However, you can book an „island hopping“. Highly recommended, especially the „Sandbar“, where you can swim and snorkel for ever. Also not the fault of the accommodation: there are jellyfish at times and sand flies. (Fortunately, sand flies are poor flyers, so they wan't harm you in windy conditions :-) Nights can be noisy at times. Since the bar is open as long as you like, there are sometimes guests who loudly and drunkenly search for their rooms between midnight and 3 a.m. Be prepared to be woken up multiple times per night. We experienced this the second week, when a large group of people was checking in. Just don’t mention it, otherwise you will be labeled as "overly sensitive" by the wife of the Swedish owner. However, if that's what you like, you've come to the right place. There is no alternative to the restaurant. There are some small shops (sari sari) nearby, but their supply is very basic. You have to eat and drink in the resort. The food is ok and there is a variety of choice. But prices are rather high and there is no possibility to withdraw or exchange money. Take enough Pesos in cash with you.
First of all, the place is really beautiful, a little paradise on the beach. We were there for a total of 14 days. Especially the first week was very nice and relaxing. The courtesy and support of the employees is outstanding. They are always friendly and helpful. The place is really remote. This can be an advantage and a disadvantage (see below). The advantage is that you are absolutely undisturbed here. There are no carolers, no beggars, no vendors or anyone who consider you as a walking wallet. You can relax in one of the hammocks or the cushions on the beach and have peace and quiet. The internet connection is outstanding and the best I ever found in a resort (and I saw many of them). Thanks to solar panels, there are almost no power outages, which is anything but a given in Palawan. At most, the batteries may run out during the night if there are a lot of guests.

The owners and the staff are AMAZING and VERY ACCOMMODATING. The prices aren't bad for their location. They're not as expensive as El Nido. The area is constantly being cleaned and kept organized. Their food is good and the view is mesmerizing.

United StatesWe weren’t aware that is was down a long dirt road and drove there an night by scooter. It was a little worrisome to get there at night. Just expect to drive out into a very rural area!

United KingdomInternet is essentially not there and you won't get much phone signal either. This can be a plus if you want isolation!
Great location on the beach if you want to be alone. There's pretty much nothing around the area apart from residential stuff. Don't expect restaurants or shops but there is a restaurant and bar here that serve great food.

CanadaIt's not that we don't like things here but it could've been better if the rooms are airconditioned 😅 especially in super hot days. I have a toddler and I'm pregnant, we came from Alberta Canada which is a cold place and not used to a very hot place. 😅 overall, the resort is a great place to stay and you get your moneys worth. We also had the opportunity to meet one of the owners and he's really nice. ☺️
The staff are really nice and accommodating in all of our requests. Ate Grace is so helpful and kind. The food is delicious! hats off to chef Brian. You will have to wait a little for food, do not expect a fast food quality food, everything is cook fresh and super delicious 🤤 my husband is a picky eater but their cooking make him try most of the food and actually liked it. The location is far from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. Not a typical tourist spot unlike El Nido and Coron where some places are crowded.
