Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOur first room was awful, very dark and broken toilet and badly leaking wash basin. Surrounded by rubbish outside to the rear and side and no view. The room was not clean (used cigarettes on the bathroom window cill) No WiFi anywhere for the first 3 days of our stay, although promised everytime we inquired. The water supplied to all rooms was a yellowish colour and smelt bad.
👍 location and on the beach Margie the manager was great and tried to sort out issues quickly and the staff were friendly. . Our final two rooms were ok. Coffee/tea and water always available. In the end we had a nice rooms and felt more comfortable with our stay.

ThailandThere are mosquitoes and some small insects inside the ground floor room. Screen should also be put up on the front windows. Bed sheets are too thin. When we stayed at Mia's, it was rainy season and you can hear the bull frog inside the ground floor room, no problem encountered in the 2nd floor room.
Staff are hospitable, approachable and friendly. Nice location, not too far from the downtown and not too crowded. Wifi is great in the ground floor but not in the 2nd floor. Sea and mountain views from the 2nd floor are exceptional!

United KingdomThe facilities were very poor. In one room we got placed there was no water, couldnt even flush the toilet and the room is right next to the bldg site with all the banging. So i asked to be moved which they obliged to a fraction better room.
The staff were helpful and accomodating but the facilities was bad. And the surrounding was bad, next to a building site making a lot of noise and there was a "wake" next door where people were in & out & there was a lot of noise.

United StatesMia Suites have a very nice and friendly staff. We felt welcomed and well taken cared of during our stay. The owner, Adrian, was very accommodating in every aspect -from helping us get comfortable in our rooms to helping us get the best experiences in El Nido by helping us book inland and island tours as well as taking us to top destinations and highly recommended activities to do in the area. He also provided us transport anywhere we wanted to go which made every day of our trip easier and more convenient. The location was close to the main beaches, markets, main centre and many tourist attractions. We had a great time, and we were glad that we spent our vacation here. They went above and beyond in making our stay worthwhile! My mom was very pleased with their service. I highly recommend this place and hopefully we get to visit again soon!

QatarFirst and foremost, our room was not ready when we arrived because as what the staff said, they did not see the confirmation for our booking. Second, they did not message us in advance that the electricity supply at their accomodation is not stable and we have to wait for certain hours for it. Third, the water supply is not continuous and the water itself is brownish in color and again it also depends on electricity. Fourth, the staff did assign us to sea view but it is another room that we didn't book for. The room's bathroom is so small and was not clean when we transferred. They promised to clean it once the electricity is up. What a hassle! After a long day travel, we were expecting to rest in a comfortable bed but turned out, we were stressed, disappointed and frustrated. This is the first time that happened to us. We were deceived with the pictures shown and reviews written on this place. The only solution that we did was to book another hotel.
