Everything went well, great staff, good pool which was never busy, nice bog room.Breakfast didn't have a lot of "international " options but we had eggs, toast , coffee and fruit juice.

Ants in room, they moved us to another room with ants. Okay, it's moalboal-- but honestly, spray the facilities now and then.

Initially we stayed in a room with no Wi-Fi signal and a bright light in front of the window all night. I asked to change rooms and so we stayed in a much better room. Do not rent a scooter at reception. Both motorcycles are completely destroyed. One of them is out of alignment, almost falling over and the other has almost no light at night. For the price (500 pesos) you can find dozens in other places. They charge 15% for card payments. Breakfast is poor and the only "continental" option is omelet and bread. There were a lot of ants in the room.

Room 103 door was very hard to close and lock, needs repairs and improvement.

Room was great, pool also. Breakfast was OK. Scooter rental so we could get around and see attractions.

I took a family room of 4 and dormitory room of 6, they only provide 2 towels in each room and no replacement on our second day of stay same with our water compliment. You should provide us every day of stay no need for us guest to ask for it. Shower is not that good. Food is so so.

They have swimming pool good for the kids to enjoy and a restaurant though doesn't really that good but not bad as well.

@ a ceiling fan that was either excessively rotational or off, WiFi, non-PWD compliant placement of switches, non-PWD comfort room. @ ALL of these were ameliorated by the aforementioned, never before experienced kindness of customizing a ramp for admittance to the room.

The best thing about The Tropics for me and my girlfriend was the staff and the owner. The staff made us feel extraordinarily welcome and once the owner found out my PWD person with a disability wheelchair-bound status and that the room has a 5 cm/12.7 in. step he ***had a ramp made within 18 hours*** to avail me entering the otherwise inaccessible room. While the ramp was being fabricated we jury rigged a temporary ramp out of aluminum grates that was acceptable overnight. This added touch has never been experienced by me in all of my 40+ years of travel.
