Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesWe had initially called the front desk before booking to ask about the rooms and the facilities because we were travelling with elderly people and 2 small pet dogs but the information given was inaccurate and we ended up booking 2 rooms at opposite ends of the resort. Also the noise level from the window type airconditioners in the rooms was less than comfortable . Worst of all we did not enjoy the rough and bumpy ride along a stretch of road off the highway leading to the resort. The place is also a long way off from the main road so its impractical to leave the resort to sample some of Tanay's popular restaurants.
The management and staff happily agreed to adjust our accommodations after we raised our concerns regarding the location of the rooms. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable (awesome pillows and duvet). We loved the fact that they were pet-friendly too (even though they charged an additional P2000 per pet) and that the resort gave a real forest vibe with all the trees and quiet surroundings. If we had more time, it wouldve been nice to hike through the forest trails on the compound and take a dip in the pools. Best of all, the in-house restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices!

PhilippinesA little bit rough road along the way before you can go through the vicinity with a cemented road.
A good place wherein you can relax well if you are a nature lover. So quiet at night, you can hear the rustling of leaves. You can smell the fragrance of some flowers near the house (casita),we stayed in. Lots of trees around you. So relaxing & refreshing place during dry season in the Philippines 🇵🇭 The staff are all hospitable. We will come back again.

United KingdomWe are a family of 6. Stayed here overnight with my Mom (Senior Citizen) and a nephew (who is PWD: Person with Disabilities). Me and my sister are 'Balikbayans' who travelled from London, UK. This stay was a bday present for my mom. We have chosen this hotel for peace and tranquility as the website says! I booked the '2 bedroom villa'. Obviously i read the accommodation details and it states that it was 'Senior friendly'. As soon as i saw the accommodation, there was the last 10 huge steps before you can reach the villa! My mom struggles to reached the last 10 steps. So i requested for a changed of accomodations in the main hotel building. We were so tired after arriving from a day trip. So we settled for an early night. However, little did we know, that the tranquility and peace was shortlived! We were awaken by a loud noise, people shouting and probably drunk. It started around 10pm till 3am. We politely asked them to lower their voices, as my mum was having a rest and recuperating from a day out. Also, my nephew (PWD: Person with Disabilities) has been deprived of sleep. And the rest of our group (including myself who travelled all the way from the UK) - got no sleep at all! Obviously the walls are not noise proof - as we can hear everything! I was hoping that the hotel staffs will tell them off as they were disturbing other paying guests. I will NOT and will NEVER recommend this HOTEL.
The road to the entrance of the resort was unbelievable. It is not paved. We were hoping that the wheel tires can withstand the journey to the entrance of the resort.

PhilippinesThey announce themselves as pet friendly yet the charges is soooo big, and yet stray dogs are rooming inside the resort. They could have waive the charges of pets, at the he very least charges smaller cost. P300 is acceptable. They could have reserve rooms for client with pets so they don't have to clean it well as they alleged. They are charging big for pets yet the rooms looks like motels that cost 30% of what their room cost.
Breakfasts is great. But location is bad. The road going to the resort is bad. It's risky for small vehicles. Comfort room is bad, though, swimming pool is excellent.

ChinaThe staff were useless when I asked where I could find a bike shop or vulcanizing shop around since I had a puncture. They didn't care. I tried to enjoy the forest but there were beer cans, plastic bottles and waste everywhere. The hotel wasn't taking care of their beautiful forest or environment with all that toiletries sachets in the bathroom.
The location was great although you would have to go through some very rough roads to get to the property. It was beautiful to have a walk around in the dense forest. It was also nice to sleep in such absolute quiet.
