The room aircon conked out on our first night, so we had to move our (unpacked) things to another room. The cable didn't work for 2 days.

I live it as it has a character, old fashion style! All the amenities were there, it’s just that I wish there were enough towels for the four of us. We were only given two which was not enough. We wish there were a bit more storage area for our stuff. There were only limited space for our stuff. It was inconvenient to have the sliding door shut with a wood. Please get this improved for a better and convenient way. One of the drawers handle came off which was not convenient for us to try and repair and put it back. We expect a bit more from a very exclusive looking hotel like yours. The toilet blocked at some point which was not a very good experience for us. Please improve your sewerage. The location was hard to locate by our taxi driver. Over all, our stay was great! It’s just that we did not have enough time to explore your hotel. It has other great facilities such as the swimming pool, great food !, very friendly and helpful staff members,

Too strict on extra payments for various things. Menu is relatively limited and so so interesting. Expensive versus value of the place. No change of money possible almost every time.

Like the garden and the swimming pools. Staff is nice but is under strict management it seems. Not so relaxed. Rooms are decent and breakfast is fine.

Not that i didn't like.., the breakfast . maybe some more nice native food. but it ok the basic breakfast is there. maybe some discount or upgrade to the returning guest? like me i have book this hotel like 2 times in this month. got 2 rooms in my first stay. atleast something that make the guest what to keep coming back😊

The big pool needs a major overhaul and both pools feel very overly chlorinated. My kid even said the water felt very “spicy” on her face every time she bathed. I had asked for an extra bed topper of sorts because the mattress was too hard on my hips. And I had to pay extra for that. It wasn’t so much the amount I had to pay extra. It was more the fact that I HAD to pay to be comfortable in a hotel I was already paying to stay in. It just cheapened the experience for me. And I have never been asked to pay extra for additional bed toppers or the like in any other hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Plus my parents were told by housekeeping that my deposit for incidentals would be forfeited if there were any stains of sort on the beddings. Again, I have never ever been asked to pay extra for any similar incidents in other hotels or even in Montebello when I stayed there pre-pandemic.

Clean rooms and efficient air condition and nice bathroom. Buffet breakfast. Very friendly front desk, porter and restaurant/bar staff. Restaurant prices were ok considering it being a hotel. And it’s in general a lovely hotel with a homey garden feel.

Food in restaurant is ok, but could be better. Strangely, the bar is closed by 10pm, and they have very strict rules against bringing food or drinks from outside, so if you want to have a drink with your friends, you will have to go out and look for a bar. Internet was strong in common areas, but I wasn't able to get a stable connection in our room, although it was very close to the reception. The surrounding area is just ok, an outdated mall is about 6 min walk. But if you want to go to a better mall or see some night life, you will have to arrange transportation, I don't think there is anything exciting within walking distance. They give complementary small bottle of water (300 ml) per person, if you want more, you will need to pay.

The hotel is very nice, spacious and well-maintained. Friendly and courteous staff. Very relaxing atmosphere, tasteful furniture, comfortable beds. Breakfast was also good. Didn't use the gym, but understood from a friend who did that it was well-equipped.

This hotel is refreshing oasis away from the traffic and noise of Cebu. I love having breakfast or dinner sitting by the lovely pool. The buffet breakfast is more like dinner! Staff are all very friendly. I have been coming to this hotel regularly for nearly 30 years and was so happy to see that the hotel re-opened.

Even after reading the previous postivive reviews the place has exceeded my expectations. The hotel grounds are large and beautiful, fantastic swimming pool, decent gym (although some machines not working), excellent service. The room was large, comfortable and extremely quiet, nice view from the balcony. Lots of amenities nearby. Overall very comfortable and relaxing
