Not much to comment on. Although it may sound funny, the only thing that could be improved is the floor material in the en suite bathroom, the anti-slip material was very painful for our feet after a while. In one sentence: Comfortable and enjoyable stay, excellent staff

Although a yurt (as very clearly stated in the name), the way they’ve done them up gives a luxurious feel to them. Location is quite ok, town center is at a 15 minute walk distance. Of course tricycles are all around and relatively inexpensive. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating and they create a nice vibe for you to chill in the reception area if you fancy a chat with them. They were also great at mediating the shuttle services and boat excursions for us. Overall a very enjoyable stay here.

The location is slightly out of main town on the road. But honestly this did not matter at all. It was easy to get to and the beds are so comfortable you sleep like a dream!

Nomad was one of my favourite places to stay ever! The yurts are so beautifully done, with some lovely touches to make the stay so comfortable and easy. Best of all was Ann and Nurhamida, they are so welcoming and kind and I can’t wait to come back, hopefully for longer next time!!

Everything was amazing

The hosts were really welcoming. During out stay we had a birthday and they really went out of their way to make it special. They also helped navigate our early morning ferry and organised a packed breakfast and transportation,and to top it all off when we were at the ferry waiting and forgot our coffee at the hostel, the host drove and dropped them off. They definitely go above and beyond. The room was also very spacious and clean, you have great hot water, towels and good WiFi.

Bibi and staff were really welcoming and accommodating. The yurts are so lovely, and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast options were delicious and had great portions. The site is situated just on the edge of the centre, so about a 15 minute stroll.

If I have to mention one thing, it‘s the annoying roosters, but there is a plan to hopefully have those banned soon. Ear plugs are provided, SO mindful!

Nomad Yurts is a very unique place!!! :))) I had slept in yurts in Mongolia and loved it, that’s why I booked it. Located in Main Street of Coron town, there is no pool or garden, but a cozy breakfast/lounge area to hang out and meet people. Bibi, his business partner and all staff are super helpful and do everything they can to make the most of your stay. You can also book tours with them. They offer a super delicious and big breakfast you should not miss! Nomad hurts doesn’t have a bar but you can easily bring your own alcohol. The yurts are very well maintained and outfittet with lots of love. Not only do they provide a toothbrush and toothpaste but also SOLID shower gel and shampoo. It’s the little things that make a difference. :) Good luck with your Mongolian restaurant plans and maybe a second Nomad Yurts in Siargao, Bibi. We hope to see you there! Bibi and David are amazing hosts who went above and beyond making our stay in Coron one to remember. Nothing was too much trouble for them, offering advice and assistance at every opportunity. 5 star service from them and the other staff. The accommodation is unique and provided a memorable experience. The bed was fabulous and ensured a good night's sleep. A lot of thoughtful touches are provided and everything was clean. A delightful stay indeed.

It’s slightly further outside of town rather than right in the center but they have motorbikes for rent so it really wasn’t an issue at all.

This was one of the most unique and charming stays we had on our entire trip in the Philippines. The owner is from Mongolia and you can feel the blend of cultures all throughout the accommodation. It was the best sleep I had in weeks. So cozy. And the breakfast was AMAZING.

There are quite a few roosters around the property that can get quite loud, but they fade out after you get used to them.

The hospitality at Nomad Yurts was second to none! Comfortable spaces, nice and clean. Breakfast is delicious, and everyone is incredibly helpful. Location is also good!

While there was airco, it might not be strong enough depending on your tolerance for heat.

The location was nice, everything was close by but seeing that it was not in the centre of Coron , there was not nearly as much street noise as we have read in other reviews. The bed was extremely comfortable, the hosts were very helpful, informative and sympathetic! Facilities were clean and in perfect working order. We initially booked 3 nights, but extended our stay with another 3.

A few minor issues during our stay including very poor water pressure /no hot water. Bad lighting in our room (one of the lights was broken and the main overhead light is like a bright white floodlight!) Aircon was not great. No shower gel/shampoo etc provided just a bar of soap. The roosters are so loud and get going from around 1am!! We ran out of toilet paper and there was no one around to ask for another roll. They provide WhatsApp number which we used for a few requests/questions and it look them a long time to respond. Would still recommend a stay here despite the minor inconveniences!

Good location away from the town centre and set back from main road. Only 5 mins/20 pesos pp in a tuk tuk to go into town. Lovely helpful staff (although not always around). Yurts were spacious and bed comfortable. Good breakfast which they kindly prepared for us to take away one day when we had a very early start.

I always like to support local home stays but I also should write honest reviews. On the first night I had a small issue where I found a roach in the room. I informed the property and they moved me to a new room. Just to clarify the issue was only with the one room as there was a hole in the door which the owner informed me will be fixed. The staff were very helpful and sorry about what had happened. I did not have any issue like this in the new room so this was only a once off issue. I was also refunded for the night of the inconvenience.

The staff were always friendly and willing to help me with anything. Thank you Nora for helping with my laundry! The owner was very kind when I had an issue with the property on the first night. Thank you for taking the time to meet me and apologise and make it right. The location is perfect. You are really a close walk to restaurants and bars and even a McDonald’s right outside. I had a small issue but it was rectified promptly and everyone was very kind. The WiFi worked well in my room. The shower had really good pressure and it was super hot which I appreciated. The a/c is extremely cold which is great since it’s so hot in Coron!
