The way to the resort is a bit tricky, but they let you now that in advance and are there to help. Of you are comfortable riding a scooter, get one so have an easy way to reach the city center.

This place is amazing. Remote, beautiful and with the nicest staff I met on my trip. Do yourself a favor and book it!

Everything was great, one suggestion I'd make would be having soap at the sinks outside the bathroom. Food and drinks were very expensive but similar everywhere due to being a touristy area!

The beach hut was nice and cool even though we only had the fan(budget room option) Beach was nice to swim in Lots of chill out areas around the property Friendly staff Quieter area than Alona beach which we liked Breakfast was great Towels provided

Maybe a bit hard to reach initially but staff every good at hiring you a tri cab or even hiring out motorbikes to get around is good

Room: We were placed in the “extension” which is not part of the small resort, instead it’s a separate property at the back which still has old signs for a different home stay on it. Rooms are incredibly dated, we only had one working light bulb in the room. The toilet cistern was constantly leaking water onto the floor. Sheets were not changed at all / room made up during our 4 night stay. Aircon very very loud. Cold water showers only with zero pressure. Door to the room did not fit the frame, with gaps top and bottom - allowing mosquitos and ants into the room. We asked to change rooms but were told there was no alternative. Access to property: The hotel did inform us after booking (a non refundable booking!) that it’s a 10 minute walk to the property on unmade road. What they did not say, was that the path was heavily cobbled, uneven and steep. Furthermore, the path is not lit at night and there are people sleeping in the woods surrounding the path - VERY VERY unsafe. Dumaluan beach is a beautiful beach, however to explore the island you would need to leave and return via this access road. Breakfast: Breakfast provided was ok HOWEVER no drinks included, coffee was an additional charge. WiFi: Only seemed to work right by reception and even then it wouldn’t work properly. We asked staff about this and their response was “we’ve reset it, nothing to do”. You would struggle to work from this property.

Front-desk staff are not professional in handling issues, issues that they should be the one fixing not their guests. The night of our first stay, source of water stopped. They don’t have a clear plan on how they are going to provide water to their guests. The front-desk keeps giving excuses and we can hear her talking behind our backs. We wanted to cancel our second night but then the staff told us that their owner is not around and refunding our payment will be subject to management’s approval. We no longer have ample time to look for another resort because we have a tour arranged very early in the morning. If they could have told us earlier we could have booked another stay. They keep on telling us that there will be water the next day. The next day, there’s still no water. We had to inform the other helper to fetch water for us. They could have handled the issue themselves and not have us worry about the problem. I think they forgot that we came in Bohol for a vacation. At one point we have to fetch our water ourselves outside when they were able to source water from their neighbor. The place has great potential if only their staffs can be trained how to handle these situations. It is expected for guests to react negatively when they know they don’t have water (a basic necessity) and there’s no assurance that the issue is being handled by the resort.

The view of the sea is superb, located on a less busy area of Panglao. Carol, is very helpful. The other one is not very friendly.

It would've been even better if I didn't have to work but the restaurant area was super nice place to do that as well. There's a wifi but this is the Philippines, it might work or it might not.

We spent our first night in Panglao in a small Kubo in this little paradise. Loved it so much that after a couple of days traveling around the island we wanted to return here so we booked a few nights more. We will definitely come back to On Board next time. Such a cozy place in a peaceful and beautiful location. Have a nice cup of coffee and step right into the ocean is quite nice way to start the day. Take a walk on a long white beach is a nice stress reliever. Each Kubo has a hammock so why not lie there and take a nap or work on your laptop. Not too crowded or too touristy area but an easy access to the hustle and bustle if you feel like that. Awesome and very helpful staff. Good food too.

Had to carry my suitcase because no road for about a half a mile on the beach Toilet had no toilet paper and no hose to clean yourself. Shower didn't work at all

It's not the easiest to access but worth it. I recommend to stay in the main rooms rather than the extensions

The resort is beside the most amazing beach. The different relaxing areas make it very easy to unwind. The staff service was excellent, very caring and friendly.

Ants everywhere in room, very run down room, no soap for washing hands or body, shower very old, toilet door not able to even open hits the toilet. Aircon very loud. Bed very small double. Sheets were clean and that's the only reason I slept here. More than one night I would not have stayed. The budget double rooms are off the main section of accommodation also. Food not great in evening we went to nearby hotel. WiFi doesn't reach rooms. No bottled cold water only filtered on tap dispenser

View of beach nice and the general dining sitting areas are nice. Beach huts look nice but we stayed in a budget double room not nice at all. Bed comfy but very small double. Staff were nice and the bike driver from the tuk tuk to the hotel was lovely too and carried our bags for us when needed. Breakfast was nicer than dinner

Not much. Some complain about the track from the taxi park, but it's well explained. No reason to give bad review. Same with water. Sometimes pressure low, but not their fault . It's how it is.

Very friendly staff, great location. WiFi ok. When it went down given access to office network.thay was kind. Lovely to hear birdsong in morning not motorbike
