The facilities could be better maintained. The most glaring is the jacuzzi that's moss covered and has frogs and tadpoles inside it. If it is not functioning, the least that can be done is to just continuously clean it until it is fixed. There were other little disappointments - the shower plumbing fixtures in one of our living facilities was not functioning so a make-shift lever was put in, making it hard for little kids to reach to turn on the shower. Our gas stove had a leak, but was immediately changed. Thank you. There ought to be a way of calling the staff for help than have to walk through the rain when we need something. A gong or bell in every room, perhaps? The staff should be trained to anticipate needs, for example, we expected our sleeping quarters to be cleaned daily and to be given a change of towels - we didn't realize we had to request for this to be done. To their credit, they do a good job of cleaning.

The staff - they were friendly and accommodating and tried their best to please us. Because of this, we did out best not to complain about anything

We have stayed here several times. Porta Verde is our "go to" place for peaceful and relaxing long weekends. It is pet friendly and our fur babies feel welcome and relaxed here. The staff are great and always ready to assist. The location is convenient because you won't need to take a boat ride to access it but it is lakeside so you both get to park at the property while still stay by the lake.

It was a pleasant stay as the staff members were so helpful, accomodating, respectful, courteous and fun to talk to, but the villa needs improvement. There was a cockroach, plenty of wood termites from the ceiling and bathroom mirror frames. Water dripped non stop on the 1st fl bathroom and the shower flooded the 2nd fl bathroom as it was not designed properly.

We loved the location of our villa, the resort as a whole is very nice and the staff members are the best! The pool was clean and so was the landscaping all over the resort.

We stayed in a cabin located in the middle of the other rooms of people from a company who held their team building that day, so a bit noisy until almost midnight.

Kudos to their staffs, very friendly and accommodating. From the reception, room service, swimming pool, mini zoo and buffet area. Place is surreal, Cabin reminded me of my stay in Europe.

This is our second time to stay at Porta Verde and we brought our parents with us. Like the last time, we had a fabulous time! The villa we stayed at (Catmon) had the panoramic view of the Lumot Lake and Mount Banahaw. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.

The cottages for couples did not have its own kitchen and the shared kitchen is very basic.

First and foremost, they are pet-friendly so two thumbs up right there! :-) Second, it is located in Lumot Lake which has less tourists than Caliraya. The resort is lakeside and most of the villas are lakefront. The bigger villas have the view of both the lake and the mountains - definitely picturesque! And last but not the least, the staff are extremely helpful and provided great service. We liked kayaking early in the morning and they accommodated this - thank you!

We love how the place is spacious, sprawling, and pet-friendly. This is our second time to visit, and we brought our other dog - a labrador-malinois mix. He was calm the whole time and we were able to take him out on the lake in a kayak. ☺️ All in all a great pace to either chill, take in the view of the lake, and do some outdoor activities. I always take note of the shower's water temperature during our trips, and the hot & cold settings were just right. 👍

The pool needed some more cleaning as it was green. The water on the tap was murky. Didnt look safe to use for brushing teeth. The bed and pillows were not really comfortable to sleep in.

The location of the villa that was given to us was just perfect. It was literally a few steps from the lake. It had a nice view and it was very calming and relaxing. Kitchen is complete and the villa was very clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
