How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Staff was so helpful and kind. Water shortages and electricity cuts in the island but did their very best to assist us. Anything we needed they would sort for us.

The room was very basic and small. Didn't have great lighting, absolutely no decor on the walls. Bathroom didn't have any shelving.
The owners are super nice, walking distance to town.

Room is basic but bathroom is big with hot water. Outside is a place with drinking cold water and hot water for coffee and tea.it is not on the main street so it is quiet at night and not far to walk to the centre.

Had a power outage one day due to local maintenance works but not due to the hosts fault.

Would be great if the room had a bit more furniture rather than just bed and small table. Could be a bit far out for some and the road isn’t great but was ok for us
Great value for money and nice and quiet, a bit away from the hustle and bustle. Staff were lovely! Our room was very spacious.

We loved how they treated us at this Guesthouse. The place is super basic, but it has all you need! And most importantly we had hot water! Which isn't always a given ;) It was also near to everything, great restaurants on walking distance or even next to the Guesthouse. Also you can refill your bottle of water for free and get free coffee as well!

The air con unit was pretty loud, a little outdated and wasn’t that cold, but did not bother us much.
A clean room to stay when visiting Coron. Value for money was very good. Property owners are lovely people, who were happy to sort motorbike rental and a boat trip out for us, which is a must do! Hands down the greatest boat trip we have done in SEA.

Earplugs are a must. Aircon systems are noisy yet essential if you don't want to melt in your sleep. With earplugs it wasn't a problem. No lamp in the room its either all lights on or off. Curtains were too thin. Lights from outside the room shine through when your trying to sleep. (Keep the eyemask from your flight.)
Quiet location, Not too far from Coron town 15 minutes walking but tricycles are always around to take you places and the property is happy to help arrange transport. Price was excellent. Room was spotless and everything worked. Bed was nice and comfy Shower was great good pressure and temp was constant. Towels provided

Great Location (near our favorite Restaurant Lobster King!) good value for money and amazing Hosts & staff. We had a perfect stay there. I was so impressed with how clean the accommodation is and how welcoming & helpful Ria & Ryan were to us. They helped organize our airport transportation and they could assist you with the Tours too. Just inquire to them and they gladly will help you. Everything went so smoothly for our Coron Experience. Ate Mira (the House staff) made an outstanding Room Service we totally am grateful for. We will definitely book this place again when we return to Coron. Highly recommend!

The staff were really nice, we used their laundry service which was really fast and good. Well located not far from the town maybe 10 minute walk. Free water refill was good too.

Spacious, clean, comfortable room with a nice hot shower. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot/cold water refill provided. Strong and stable wifi. The location is nice and quiet so you can get a good nights sleep. It’s also a close walk to a gym and McDonalds. It’s down a small hill which leads to the Main Street of Coron with all the cafes, restaurants etc. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

We personally would’ve preferred to be a little closer to the centre, it took at least 15 mins to walk anywhere we needed to go most of the time which was a bit of a struggle in the peak heat at times, not bad just something to note. Water pressure was terrible, I would barely call it a shower. Aircon is very loud but was grateful to have one. Note: there is 0 atmosphere, just a simple space to lay the head which was all we needed.
Good value for money, nice effective aircon, quiet location and friendly. Very basic but almost everything you need. Wifi worked.

The room per is ok but it is very spartan, a few things such as a tiny cabinet next to the bed would have helped with the luggages.
The accommodation is just outside the main busy road, even if the road is a bit dark we actually felt pretty safe. The hosts are lovely people and they made everything to make us feel home. They helped us with very service we needed.

This place is great if you want to avoid the chaos of the main street, but also close to it. The host is very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The room is clean and the water in the shower is hot, which is great!

Our stay here was lovely! The owner made us feel very welcome and was very accommodating! She helped us book a tour and helped us out with our laundry which was really fast service! Overall we had a great time and will definitely recommend to our friends looking for group accommodation in Coron!
