United StatesIt is a 10 -12 minute car/bike ride to General Luna. But this was okay as it was so quiet with a real feeling of nature at night. The stars were bright, and listening to the ocean waves and sounds was great.
The grounds were exceptionally taken care of and so relaxing, either in the morning on the beach, or in the late afternoon sitting in or around the beautiful pool. The staff was especially helpful and accommodating. The layout of the buildings with all rooms having excellent views of both the ocean and pool area. I also loved the grass covering the complete area, so there was very little beach sand that got into the rooms. The beach was very white and clean and great to walk on. The only exception is when the tide goes out then there is some sea weed visible. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

CanadaThe facilities has no kayak or stand-up paddle board 🤔 for the guests to use. They have outdoor activities, but quite a bit pricey. The pickup/dropped off at the airport is also quite expensive.
Breakfast was great! Location was right in front of the beach. The staff were kind and very attentive to all the guests. We had an excellent service during our 4 night stay. This place is owned by Korean American, so there are plenty of Korean food to choose from the menu. The pool is very good.

United StatesI stayed for five nights. The Hotel Management accepted a large tour group of more than 50 people for two nights in the middle of my stay. There are only 7 villas total (i.e., 14 Retreat Sriagao guests) and only 2 villas were unoccupied. With the 50 additional guests' sudden and unannouced arrival, the Resort was overun. The pool was rendered unusual because it was not built for this number of guests. The Front Office management promised a room change upon check-in but never made it happen, even though the desired upstairs villa in an adjacent building was available, during my five-day stay.
The owner, Jason, was fantastic and very attentive to guests' needs! Every single Retreat Sriagao Team Member was also super-attentive and had "can do" approaches to requests. The Malinao location was perfect: far enough away from the hordes of General Luna tourists while being close enough to reach any part of the town in less than 10 minutes

NetherlandsAll in all we had a nice stay, but the place has more potential. Everything seemed a bit run down… After a heavy rainfall, the floor in our room was completely wet - The rain leaked inside! Also they forgot to clean our room once. The wifi was not so good. There was one night we didnt have any wifi at all, Apparently, there was a problem with the network. Anyway, small things that could be optimized, but overall we enjoyed our stay!
Very relaxing place to stay. It’s super close to general luna with a scooter. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking you are looking for nice and quiet accomodation with beachfront. When the tide is high you can easily go for a swim and will have the beach pretty much for yourself! The breakfast was okay. Fruits were included in the breakfast, which was nice. We didnt try the rest of the lunch/dinner menu. Very nice pool and garden, but there weren’t any parasols for shade around the pool. We were able to do a late checkout which was very kind.

United StatesThe food was not that great. It was on the salty side. If you want to be in the main hub, this hotel is a bit far from it. It’s about 15-20 minutes tricycle ride. We liked that it was not in the central area.
The property was clean. Check in was smooth. The staff were all polite, helpful, and friendly. The pool was clean and amazing. Our room was clean. It was huge. It could easily fit 4-5 people. The surrounding was clean. A/C worked well. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom/shower had good pressure with warm/hot water. Breakfast had selection from American, Filipino, and Korean.

Terrific staff, super welcoming and helpful. Owner treated all guests to a joint New Year's Eve meal, which was a very nice gesture. One should be aware that the property is slightly out of town which - depending on one's circumstances can be an advantage (very quiet and peaceful) or a disadvantage (it takes 5 mins by tuktuk to the town and its restaurants and cafes).

CanadaSmell of paint in the room coming from the wooden furniture as well as smoke from the couch. Internet was somewhat intermittent in the room and not available at all in the pool or restaurant. Noise at ground floor from upstairs neighbours stomping around.
It's a lovely little resort in a very quiet and peaceful location right on a clean soft white sand beach. The grounds, garden and swimming pool are very attractive. The staff are very friendly and cute. The room is large with a lot of windows. The restaurant food was very good, especially the Korean foods.
