Very nice place! Comfortable room, hot shower, friendly staff and delicious food! It's only a short walk to the city centre. The rice terraces of Hapao and Batad are less than 1 hour drive from the homestay.

Having to wake up early to travel again. :-)

We stayed at the bungalo/hut and it was very comfortable and different! It was separated from the rest of the building so it was very private. It was also right next to the river and the sound of the flowing water was very relaxing. Food was very tasty. We ordered pakbet, chopsuey and pancit. Veggie servings were more than enough for the 4 of us (for only Php190) You just have to order in advance to get it on time. They also served it just beside our hut and it felt like we had the place all to ourselves. Staff were very friendly too.

The shower is not separate in the bathroom which means the whole bathroom is flooded after having a shower but we found a lot of places in the Philippines were similar. It was still above expectations overall.

The room was perfectly fine, clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful, they gave us extra blankets when the night got a bit cold. The food they serve is good and very affordable. We booked 2 days of guided hikes as well as transportation from Manila with the hotel and absolutely loved it!

I think it would be nice if Rice & Bogath guests can chose their meals between the 2 restaurants.

The place was amazing!! The restaurants are right next to a rice terraceshe. The staff (always smiling and very nice guy Bambino) & the ladies that cooks are always welcoming. We like the rooms too. We stayed for 2 nights, leave our luggage and went to Batad and came back for another 2 nights in Rice. All in all it was a very good stay. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect. The host helped us organise a hike to visit the rice fields and everything went great! They also pick us up when the bus arrived at 6am and organized for an early check in. Rooms are simple, but comfortable and the food is great!!

Could be noisy early in the mroning with the new comers so be sure you get your ear plugs. Do not expect any fancy hotel here around in the area... or you'll be disappointed.

The Rice Homestay was a fantastic place to stay for my one night / two days trip to Banaue. They organised a pick up from the bus station, had flexible options for tours depending on schedule, as well as drop off back to the bus station when I finished. The tours felt very tailored to my requests, and the team (especially Bambino!) made everything very relaxed, easy, personable and enjoyable. M If you are looking for a place that can sort basically everything you need in Banaue, this is the place! I felt in very good hands - thank you!

I was met from the bus after a late arrival. I had a room to myself which was clean and simple. No hot water but that’s the norm. I was well looked after by Bambino who booked all my tours, including a day to Segada and then Vigan.

The best was the people working in Rice Homestay. The boss and the other woman in charge were super nice!! They provide an excellent customer service to their customers. The views from the terrace are amazing.

I really enjoyed how they helped you out to get around the places. The tour was very great too I enjoyed it a lot. The food was great so I didn't really need to go to find something else and the view the whole day was very great. I could really relax. If I would go to there again I would definitly do it :)

Amazing staff, friendly, always smiling and helpful. You get many choices for breakfast (scrambled eggs are delicious), all the good is fresh and the view is awesome. Very nice place to stay while visiting this area. Rooms have all the comfort (also hot water)

Thank you Dondon Lopez ( tricycle driver) for coming and picking us at 4.30am the day we arrived and dropping us at the bus stop. The staff is professional, and friendly. Thank you to the two ladies on site for the delicious food. We really appreciate to have our room early when we arrived and leave the room late before leaving. The room was clean, calm and comfortable with hot water and magnificent view on the river.

AC would be nice, especially because of the mosquitos.

Staff was great and very helpful. Pick up from the bus stop and drop off also included, which is great. Location is nice and quiet. Food from the guest house also awesome and a few vegetarian options.

We paid too much for a 4 hour trip to Batad - 6600 PHP, about 2000 more than the price we first got. Besides that, nothing bad to say.

Nice Homestay. We booked a deluxe room with private bath and toilet. Very comfy bed, nice bathroom with hot water and good pressure. No aircon, but not needed in the mountains. Was given a late checkout which we really appreciated. Strong and very fast wifi. Complimentary shuttle to and from the bus station (10 minutes drive away). Simple food at the Homestay, but more than adequate for a couple of days.
