How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location isn't great, nearby the road so this is loud and a bit far from the main part of oslob
The room is spacious and clean and the lady from staff was very nice!

It was actually far from Oslob Whale Shark Watching but the staff assisted us to get there at 5am in the morning. I was happy that I booked this inn though. They hired a tricycle for getting to our destination the tricycle driver didn't ask for additional fee. He even assisted us at Oslob to get our tickets. We tipped him well.
The room was clean and they put the AC on when we got in. The size was moderate. It was just ok for sleeping two people in two single beds. The toilet is clean as well. It is located by the highway but it wasn't noisy. It was a convenient location for going to Cebu. We just hailed a bus across the hotel. The tricycle fare is just 15 pesos going to the Cuartel Ruins which is really nice and also to Gaisano Mall to buy stuff. The staff also was helped us in booking a tricycle to Oslob for our early morning whale shark watching.

No fridge in room is OK if the fridge in open area was working but it was not. This means I could not keep a few beers cold for my resting afternoons. Please fix or buy new fridge. Also I do not understand why the sheets, although very clean, did not fit the bed. Maybe no issue for others but for me was odd at this price hotel.
The rooms are good size with cool air con and showers that work well. Outside chair and table on balcony was handy for resting with a small view. Best part were friendly kind and efficient staff. Luzzy was a lovely lady with good English skills, and Fritzy with her lively banter and smiles. Thank you ladies for making my stay so good. I would definitely choose here again in Oslob.

Location is a bit far, its about 1 km from supermarket and 2 km from town center and a boat to Panglao (side note, don't go there with Apekoptravel, it's the worst boat company I've ever met). Sometimes the water pressure was too low to take a shower.
Staff is very helpful, helped me to organize a trip to whale shark watching and Tumalog waterfalls. Really great experience. Room is fine, WiFi signal is very strong. Its on the main road, so if you are traveling by bus from Cebu city or Moalboal, just tell to a driver to stop near the hotel.

It was very noisy, dogs, chicken, phones, people, traffic.. they are burning leaves everywhere so you can smell that too (but I guess thats all over SEAsia)
Staff was nice, location is ok, there is a cute little rocky beach nearby, center and harbour are in walking distance (20mins)

Most accommodations near the main roads are a bit noisy, but luckily we had no problem falling asleep.
Room very clean with hot water. We arrived at midnight but were able to check in. Great value for the pritriThIt was recommended by one of the tour drivers we have hired to take us around on short trips inpritriThe bed was really comfortable. We requested the innermost room on the ground floor because there is no elevator. It was good we did not need to carry our luggage upstairs and was relatively quieter.

Air conditioning units are old and very noisy. Need replacing. A bathroom door handle needs fixing (simple job-a minor point).
Nice friendly helpful owners and staff. Secure and safe, gated location.

Nothing much. Perhaps the lack of variety in their menu as we are vegetarians and we were looking for food availability within the accommodation.
The room was kept sanitary and basic necessities can be found. There was a bath tissue, towels and even a piece of rug after using the comfort room.

Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, we booked last minute and arrived very late, no problem with the check in, they waited for us and made sure we were comfortable. Great value for money.

Unless someone is an extremely heavy sleeper, I wouldn't recommend to stay here. It's right next to the main road and super loud noise from trucks and buses passing whole time. Also really thin curtains, extremely bright very early in the morning
