Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicWho wants a quiet place in nature with the loveliest owners it is the right place. It has 3 rooms,we ocupied all of them. There is a table outside ,drinking water and a catle to make coffee or tea. To the centre of Anda it is about 5km. We had a car so it was not a problem to go there for dinner and beer.

United StatesNo hot water in our bathroom room, but not a problem for us as it's really hot outside; try to shower before dark. Bed is a little small for a very tall person, again not an issue if you are normal sized ...haha.
The owners of this Homestay are so lovely and the place is very beautiful. The hosts are so accommodating and genuinely friendly and wonderful people. The WiFi is fiber optic at 300mbs or more so if you are looking for the best WiFi in Bohol, you'll find it here. Remote workers should consider booking this place as it's really hard to find good WiFi on Bohol! The place is Very quiet and a perfect place to unwind. The beach is close by and the reef there is really lovely to snorkel at. If you are looking to enjoy a hidden gem of Bohol, get away from the hoards of tourists, you should stay here. Thank you for the lovely stay!🙏

Canada-Expect Cold shower -our AC room has one of the worst bed ever. It is just a foam and it’s so thin that all you feel is the wood under. We felt pretty much as if there wasn’t any mattress.
The place was quiet and serene, that’s what I loved must about this place, along with the amazing human beings that are Rose and Sebastien. They have two sweetest puppys ever that we love so much also. You will have to rent a scooter if you sleep there, but you can rent directly from them at a very low rate. Bus can also stop you in the front of the path to the house, which is convenient. Breakfast was good and quite cheap. Unlimited free potable water Communication on booking app was very good.

United KingdomI cannot recommend this place enough. From the minute we arrived Rose and Bastien made us feel at home. The room was clean, comfy and water pressure brilliant. We also rented a bike at the property which was a good price and great bike. Above all just genuine friendly people who will go above and beyond for their guests. Thankyou so much for having us. Anda and surrounding areas a hidden Gem.

GermanyThis is an amazing accommodation run by Dutch-Filipino-couple - just 3 rooms, all of them beand-new, spotless clean, and very affordable. WIFI is strong, breakfast superb, the bikes for rent are in good condition... and there are cute puppets around from the watch-dog of the guesthouse. Now they sleep outside the facility but are waiting for you to cuddle and play 😊

United StatesThere's wifi, but it's not really good for streaming. Means you'll just have to enjoy nature more ☺️
Peaceful, quiet, and close to nature. If you want a true getaway, here it is! In the heart of the Anda jungle is this little gem. It's close enough to Bituon Beach, Combento Cave, the other resorts, and a food park. The property is gated so it's secure. At night, you can look up to see the stars. The room has all the basics, an ensuite shower, towel, soap and shampoo. The bed is comfy enough. Rose, Sebastian, and family really made my stay memorable. We had many great conversations over a home cooked meal. They took me to Anda Food Park. They showed me the cave. We went body surfing together. They introduced me to their neighbors Paul and Mina who I also stayed with. I really loved Anda, Rose and Sebastian were a big reason why.

GermanyThe "double bed" is way too small for two average size people. It was by far the tiniest bed we have encountered on our trip throughout Philippines and even Asia. There is no real mattress either, only two foam layers piled on top of each other, which were very uncomfortable. No moskito screens or nets. Hardly any natural light in the room, unless you open the bamboo window, but then you get even more moskitos inside, as it is not screened. No place nor hook to hang a towel or even just to place a toothbrush in the bathroom, just bare walls. Contrary to what's stated on booking.com, there is NO shared kitchen.
We loved the quiet location, a bit off the main road, surrounded by trees. Small beaches are nearby at walking distance. Rose and Sebastian were friendly and helpful, we had some nice chats and they even invited us to join them for a Christmas Party in the village - thank you! Free drinking water refills and free coffee in the mornings, but you have to ask for the coffee sachets each time, as they don't share the kitchen facilities anymore. Nice shaded sitting area outside with forest views. Minor issues, like our super noisy fan, were addressed promptly. Sebastian makes his own soap (loved it!) and he gave us some herbal oil for our numerous moskito bites, much appreciated!
