Worth every penny. Booked 2 Deluxe Family Suite. The staff were very friendly and approachable. They served different and delicious dishes every breakfast. The place was peaceful as it is located 5-10 mins away from the center. If you want to go to the center, the toktok's are just outside (25 pesos pp per way) if you haven't finalized your activities, you mu consider booking your excursions with them (we did)They were so flexible with all our requests. Overall stay was amazing!!

You could not sit around the swimming pool. Too many excellent reviews when the place was very average. No balcony and a very small window which you could not draw the curtains because everyone walking past would see you. Breakfast was a bit disappointing.

My suggestion is that they should have some hammocks around the property.

Nice greek style hotel, cozy, nice staff, very good breakfast included. Close to the town and far enough from the noise. I would stay there again.

The rooms were very closely packed together and although there were two seats and a table outside each, there was absolutely no privacy as they were all in a line facing the opposite rooms and outdoor area, with a couple of metres width between the two rows of rooms.

The room was small but functional and clean. The room was much smaller than it looked in the photos. Nice decor. Small, clean pool to cool off in. Good breakfast but quite a lot of tiny flys around the uncovered food.

We loved the aesthetic when you arrive, the room was basic but clean, the beds were comfy, the staff were super friendly and helpful and the location is great, just out of the town so it’s quiet and you get a good nights sleep

I think it's a general issue in the Philippines, but I found the price too high for what we got. The breakfast was ok, but mainly Asian dishes and not everybody can eat fried fish and garlic rice for breakfast.

The rooms are spacious and clean, staff is really nice and helpful and you can ask them anything. The hotel is close to a big road, but because of the way it's built, most rooms and areas are really quiet. The AC is built in very smart, and it's not blowing in your face when you sleep!

Their restaurant is closed at night and there is limited option for food delivery so we had to settle for fast food, would also be better if they have foot mat in the shower. There’s also no lamp/down light.

The male at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming during check in and the hotel security is questionable as the doors are basically bedroom locks and the hotel opens right up to the road. Until we met more friendly staff, we really weren’t comfortable and almost left the hotel. We only had cold water in our room, but our second room had hot water only in the shower. When you book tours with the flyer they provide, they charge you for the pool towels if you don’t book the tour through them. Unfortunately, we didn’t even know that they booked tours as they just tossed us a pamphlet at check in. We borrowed towels and was told 50 pesos each when we took them, but was then charged 150 pesos each at checkout. Overall there is a strange vibe in this hotel with staff, some are just wonderful and others are just cranky. The buffet breakfast offers very authentic Filipino food. There were days that they offered Tocino pork and pancakes, but other days there was just danggit fish and little sardines, which we aren’t use to. It is an interesting culinary adventure, but for foreigners, it’s good to know that you may want an alternative breakfast.

This is hotel is a good value compared to the other expensive places targeting tourists. The linens and towels in the room were fresh and clean. The dining staff were very friendly, location was quiet at night.

The staff is absolutely amazing. So professional and always on top of things. The manager is always around and makes sure everything is taken care of. The room was specious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay at Ruhe and would definitely recommend it!!

Nothing actually, maybe they can just improve on the frequency of room clean up.

It’s clean, the staff are all courteous and helpful and the foods are superb. I also love the “Mykonos feels” vibes of the place. I appreciate that they catered to my food request on my first night when I was not feeling good. The Chef can truly work wonders in the kitchen!
