How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very friendly lady welcomed us. Very helpful recommended where to eat etc. Comfortable room and nice shower. Location great for airport transfer. We had a very early flight and was able to book a 10 minute grab to the airport.

There really is no attraction around, embedded in the local community. NO elevator, so if with luggage come strong. The couch, i really didnt want to seat on it, could use shampoo in my opinion. No soap or shampoo so bring yours. Checkin and checkout strict without additional pay.
The staff (Jen & Rose) was awesome, friendly and responsive. The rooms are sizable. The room was clean and everything present for easy home prep meals.

If i could have had plastic bags for trush bin and more toilet papers for my one week stay, that would be more conformable.
People are so kind here. Although i accidentally lost the room key and asked for help at 10 pm, the security guard and the owner kindly helped me get into the room. I really appreciate their true user-first mindset. My entire experience in Cebu would be different if they were not who they were, or if i stayed in a different place... Thank you all!!

Tye place just lacks a floor rug in the toilet and a fan in the living room. Cool air from the ac in the bedroom does not reach the living room that much. Place does not have elevator. It was kinda difficult to move things up and down the floors.
I like that the place has fridge, cabinet, ac, kitchenette and sho cabinet.

- the water temperature was hard to adjust properly, it was either hot or cold. - The noise: from clubs and bars around the place. If you stay here during the weekend be prepared to hear the music for the whole night. There are also noises from the room next to you. The room where we stayed was a connected room. So we have a thin wall separating us and those ppl were up chatting and laughing for the whole night. Also, the aircon is making a loud noise as well. I don't recommend staying here with the elderly, the noise will keep you wake for the whole night
- Location : It's close to the airport and duty-free area. Also, not a tourist area so you can absorb the local experience around here. - Price : this place is cheap compared to the sqm you get. - Room : there's no elevator here but the staff will be ready to carry the luggage for you. The room is spacious, we love it.
