Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaI don't have many suggestions for the place.
This was our first stop on a three week adventure and we are so pleased to have found it. The meals were exceptional, and had a good variety. We stayed 5 days in April and found that it was a nice amount of time for the visit. The staff assisted us to arrange two outings, and again - they were the the best snorkeling adventures on our whole trip to the Philippines. The Coral Gardens was the best underwater experience of my life - don't miss it - it made all other snorkeling experiences in El Nido to be just.... Mehhh in comparison! We found that one outing with a rest day between allowed us to see the area and to feel quite relaxed. Also took the kayak out for a little paddle through the mangroves. Grateful my partner has a good sense of direction as I would have been lost. We stayed in the hobbit house and enjoyed the AC! We as visitors must be understanding that water is brought in, so conservation is our responsibility too. I was nervous about drinking water on this trip, but didn't have any problems with the water provided. I also requested a massage, which was arranged and took place in one of the tree house platforms. It was a very lovely experience. I would highly recommend staying here, especially for those who appreciate nature, and those who enjoy a glamping type experience. They set the bar high for the rest of our vacation.

NetherlandsThe main advantage, the beautiful quiet location, is also a disadvantage: the cabs or transportation to this location is very pricey which makes the visit a bit more expensive overall. The transport price charged by the hotel for guests was also very high, while gasoline is supercheap. The pool seemed or was very dirty; the water was so extremely murky that you couldn't see yourself in the pool, there were also some dirty bubbles floating on the water. Didn't like to swim in the pool beacause of that, which is a pity. The shared shower and toilet is in one room, but there is a very large open basket where everyone throws in the (dirty) toilet paper which is really far from a fresh sight while brushing teeth or showering. A closed bucket would be the quick simple solution. If the surroundings/paths were fixed up a little bit, and there were some chairs or loungers by the pool it would be perfect! We missed not being able to sit or sunbathe by the pool. The room we booked was a bit to dark in the evening, not enough options to turn on a light. It would be great to have some extra lights in the room.
We came here for 2 nights to relax after a long journey of 2 months. I regret that we didn't have more time here, because in my opinion the area is great! The hotel is located in a very beautiful place, with very beautiful views! I loved the common space with the hammock to enjoy the view. The view from the room is amazing, I really enjoyed that! The bed is nice and big and spacious. The owner is very friendly and organizes fun acitivities for the guests, a lot of options available! The restaurant serves good and yummy food!!!

UkraineThis is a great place! Good breakfasts and very friendly staff. The hotel is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Keep in mind that the hotel is far from the city, so if you plan to engage in any activities on the island, be aware that taxis will cost 2000-3000 pesos. During our stay, there was very low water pressure.

United KingdomWe cannot recommend the treehouse enough, we stayed in the kingsuite treehouse and there was ample space for 3 people. The views over the sea were stunning. On our arrival, we were greeted with iced tea, which was much needed in the Philippines heat! The staff were extremely attentive and cooked every night, changing the menu up daily - we can't fault the food, it was amazing. The girls always went out of their way to make sure we were looked after, we wanted a tour that wasn’t advertised on any of the leaflets and they organised this with a few hours notice for the next day. It is a very rustic experience so you need to expect some bugs and ghekos at night but it didn't bother us and we came away unscathed with bites!

The treehouse accomodation was personally one of my favourite stays ever. The staff are amazing - so kind, generous, ready to help out and make your time as great and easy as possible. There are so many activities to be organised through them, so no need to stay in town. We felt so comfortable, as this place attracts the right kind of people, and never ran out of things to do. The pool and communal areas are so beautiful, and perfect for chilling out. Every treehouse is unique and gorgeous (the photos do not do it justice). Great food and drinks as well. Thank you Bryan and the team!! tin tin, cha cha and Elsie are the biggest babes in busuanga. ❤️

United KingdomThe lack of public transport/price of private transport to get to the location is unfortunate but it is definitely worth it.
The Treehouse was incredible! The views from our treehouse and the pool were amazing and you could switch off from the world! The staff were really friendly and smiley, even helping us book a tour the following day in the town. Food and drink were good and reasonably priced. Just being able to sit in the pool and watch the sunset was a wonderful experience. The owner Bryan really has made a great place and there is an expansion in the pipeline too!

SwedenA bit of issues here and there with electricity and water supply but that should be expected considering the location. Nothing that actually bothered us to much!
A bit different and primal but in the end overall very fun experience. The rooms are very cool and unique. Great view from all rooms and the facilities/location actually exceeded our expectations. The staff was execellent. Good food and customer service overall.

AustraliaAlthough it has beautiful views it is a little remote. We ended up hiring motorbikes, travelling either an hour north or south to go on tours. Also, as per much of the Philippines, the hot shower wasn’t fully operational and we often had a cold Mandi. We didn’t mind this, and didn’t find the shared bathroom much of a problem as it was mostly free. It would have been nice to have some more comfy chairs in the shade. But these were small things. Overall highly recommend.
We loved the views, peace and character of the place, beautiful and laid back. The ladies ( the A team) really did their very best for you. The cooked amazing food, sorted laundry, booked tours and went out of their way to assist you. We also enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves and seeing monkeys. We thought it was good value for money and would stay again.

United KingdomWe had a minor problem with the bed in our room, however Brian sorted this for us straight away.
This was a truly amazing experience and one of the best places we have stayed. The treehouses themselves are situated about a 35 minutes drive from Coron Town, nestled in mangroves. The owner Brian was extremely friendly, hospitable and helpful in making our experience special. He offered to pick us up from the port in Coron and take us to the accommodation. Upon our arrival Brian’s team had prepared welcome drinks and made reccomendations about where to go during our stay. Brian himself reccomended Black island and also Kelyen waterfall which was amazing and totally untouched to tourists. The treehouse we stayed in was very nice, it was clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The accommodation has an on site pool which came in handy on the hot days. Brian serves home cooked food on site which was AMAZING - seriously some of the best food we have eaten in the Philippines. I would highly reccomend trying the food! Overall this was an amazing place to visit and we would love to come back one day.
