This place is paradise! Probably the best place I stayed in my entire 2 month trip in Southeast Asia. Everything is amazing and peaceful. The location is very close to the bus station, which is very convenient once you arrive from a long trip from El Nido or Puerto Princesa. Once I entered the Hilltop complex I was greated by Carlette (I may have spelled the name wrong), she showed me my cottage and suggested to settle and rest for a bit and when ready to go to the main house to meet her husband and do checkin. I left my stuff and went a few minutes later to check-in to get it out of the way so I can continue with the day. However this was no regular checkin.. It was a special one! It was a unique experience itself! I entered the main house and I'm greated by Dieter, the owner. He introduces himself to me and proceeds to ask me 'would you like a strong beer or a light beer'.. We hung out for the next hour, he told me a bit of his story and how he ended up in Port Barton and many other interesting things! The breakfast there is arguably the best I had. With a stunning but also peaceful view of the entire Port Barton. Sleeping was very comfortable, and the tips Dieter and Carlette gave me were very valuable! The best stay in Port Barton! Positioned on the hill it has just the best view in town. This is only topped by the great breakfast and the very supportive Host! Honestly thats the best breakfast I had on Palawan.

We felt very welcomed from the moment we came in. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes from the main town but with a magical view on the sea. The breakfast was by far the best we got in our 3 weeks in the Philippines.

It is a very good accomodation! But just one advice: don't talk to the host about politics, feminism or any other difficult topics, he is very set in his ways.

We stayed for two nights in Santa Claus Hilltop and we really liked it. The room was big, clean and quiet. Every day we got fresh towels and a good breakfast. Santa Claus's wife was so nice and gave a lot of advice.

It is a fantastic place to stay with quite, comfortable and very clean rooms, nice garden and a large terrace where you get yummy breakfast with a great ocean view. Quirlet and "Santa Dieter Claus" are amazing and warm-hearted hosts who supported us with everything and let us feel being part of the family. They even invited us for an extraordinary christmas dinner. We had a fantastic time and can highly recommend this place.

Peaceful place. Very relaxing. The view is amazing. The owner is very accommodating. The shared bathroom is big enough and very clean. We really loved the decoration they made in the bed for our wedding anniversary, the bouquet of flowers and the cake. Everything is perfect!
