I like the setting , the quietness of it especially in the evening . The staff were amazing , the food was lovely though it would have been better if there's more choices in the breakfast menu.

We had a very nice stay here. I liked the "traditional" architechture they have going on, feels very "summer vacation". Relatively near to everything, but would recommend getting a bike for convenience. Staff was very friendly, they also helped us book some tours and transports.

All was perfect.

This hotel exceed our expectation. It's located 10 min walk from crouded city center and 15 min from Alona Beach which is far enough to spend time in calm environment but close enough to reach all attraction by foot. Positive surprise was free transfer to the Beach. Very good food and drinks in hotel restaurant. Super friendly and supportive stuff. Rooms clean, comfortable and well equiped. We had very plesent stay there.

Unfortunately, we experienced bed bugs in our room which sadly ruined our stay at Scent of Green Papaya.

The resort is lovely, a great location not far from Alona Beach. The staff are super helpful, happy to book tours/taxis and provide recommendations.

Was too far to walk to the main area, so reliant on trikes or scooter rental. The rooms and pool are good but nothing amazing.

The staff here are some of the most friendly and helpful staff during our travels throughout the Philippines. They are genuinely lovely people. They even make you a little pack-up bag for breakfast if you go on an early tour! Speaking of tours, you can pay for tours at reception and both times resulted in us getting private tours for cheaper than the group tours were selling for online and in Alona. The drinks were nice and well priced. There's a really nice, chill vibe with the other guests sitting in the bar/pool area so it feels very calm. They organise very cheap trikes for you to get to the nearby town too!

The pool was amazing, and the staff were very helpful to the point of arranging forgotten property to get to the airport on time! The rooms are clean and comfortable and you can organise all activities when you arrive through the front desk. 10 mins walk to alona, which is the main touristy area or a 2 kin toktok ride.

Everything was perfect ! Really calm and relaxing place at human size. Close to the center (approximately 10 minutes of walking). The room was clean and confortable for 3 with a nice balcony. The pool was a real pleasure. Breakfast was good and diverse you could choose between several options. Above all, I would like to stress the kindness of the staff. They were really reactive when we had a problem and they also organised an island hoping tour for us ! I would definitely recommend

The road leading to the hotel is not nice. Also, the dogs. There were lots of stray dogs who fought loudly with one another night after night. It seems like there was a kennel or something behind the hotel.

Staff were really nice and really made our stay enjoyable. The pools were very clean and so was the rest of the hotel. Food was pretty good too! We were surprised because it was such a small kitchen but the food was good and they had great happy hour specials.
