Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesThe room was spacious. It was a good value for our money. We ate dinner at Miso, or tried to. We ended up cancelling part of our order because my kids are very hungry and couldn't wait anymore. Aparently, there were a lot of room service orders at that time. The restaurant staff and management tried to make-up for what happened by delivering our order to our room so still kudos to them for doing their best despite the huge demand.

United StatesI would have liked to see more variations with the breakfast fare. We stayed for 12 days and the fruits were the same and there were no local sticky rice based snacks which is usually offered at other breakfast buffets.
The 2 bedroom suite we had was roomy and well laid out. I liked the furniture because it had good support. Having restaurants and that mall adjacent to the hotel was a big plus. Seda Makati’s biggest asset however is their staff. When I arrived I was greeted and assisted by bellhop Dean who was genuinely concerned about my well-being and safety as I have mobility issues. Every time he spotted me around, he’d always rush to make sure that I was alright. Kath, our housekeeper took care of our room and was very flexible with our schedule. She paid attention to our requests and made the bed the way I wanted. And many of the staff at breakfast were also very cheerful and attentive. I rate Seda Makati’s staff number 1 amongst all the hotels I’ve stayed at in Asia.

PhilippinesThe aircondition is too cold for us and it seems that the temperature is centralized because even if we switched off the ac it's still cold. The same thing goes for the water heater in the shower, the highest level for hot temp is still cold for me. And also the TVs in the rooms aren't Smart so you need to bring google chrome cast or Smart TV stick dongle to be able to enjoy watching or streaming your favorite shows (they mentioned this somewhere in the room details). These are the few things to consider if you will stay at this property.
Location is great, good for business travel or for people who need to work onsite. Comfortable beds, clean room, kitchen appliances and dining utensils are available, the availability ofwashing machine and dryer is a plus. Great breakfast. And all the hotel staffs are accommodating and pleasant

IndonesiaEverything is good till a few days later when I want to go back and pack I realize that my clothes were left behind in the wardrobe which I used when I came to Manila the first day. It was still in the Seda Hotel. We have to ring our home phone a few times to inquire about this lost item. They found it and sent it to my daughter who fortunately still stayed one more day in another hotel in Manila at her transport cost.
Breakfast is excellent, A buffet with a variety of choices from Western, Asian, and Filipino culinary. Breakfast is in the Arcondition room inside and terrace room outside with the city view. The staff bellboy was very nice to assist us with direction when we asked. The customer service public relations also assisted us and directed us to a map of Manila shopping malls. There are skyway bridges direct from the Hotel from the Mall to another shopping Mall within walking distance in the Makati area..We do not need to walk in the street with traffics and traffics light.

United StatesThere is nothing not to like about the property. If it was made available, we would return back on December 10-12 providing the same accommodations were available. We love the property and the staff
The property is centrally located with all the necessary conveniences nearby. The staff are very gracious. We were treated to an amazing vacation. The staff were very professional in appearance and interactions . Dean, at the Bell team was phenomenal. He remembered our names even after our first day and throughout our stay. We felt special.. The entire staff were cordial, kind, friendly, and helpful. The “Five Diamond trump card’” was the” icing on the cake” : A sign of efficiency, guest anticipation/expectations, etc, to execute and deliver sincere “First class Service,” is clearly evident here at Seda Residences Makati. Here is what happened: On our day of departure while before entering the elevator, the Bellman asked if “Grab/taxi was needed to the airport. We said yes, and they arrange the pick up. The pick up was waiting when we got to the entrance of the hotel. There is no doubt we will return once again to stay at this awesome resort
