How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A bit off the beaten track and no view but the exceptional comfort made up for that. Rested it is easy enough to call a Tuktuk and get about and dinner at the nest or breakfast at Caalan Beach both elegant with stunning views
So comfortable, clean, spacious. AC great bed and shower with a kettle to be able to make a cuppa.

I really enjoyed my stay at Serenity Hotel. Staff is very kind and helpfull, they helped me to organize transport from Puerto Princessa, self check in and motorbike rental, room is spacious and clean, equipped with all you need, nice balcony, I like boho decor, located in quiet neighborhood, 10 minutes of nice walk (via beach!) to the main street full of shops and restaurants. I'd stay there again

Very good hotel with all You need. Small (only 4 rooms are available), but cozy. You feel there like at home. Nice room design (in pastel shades, totally I can name it as "island design"). Good bathroom with bathroom accessories, hot water was always available. Room clean as per request. Breakfasts are not available but there is wonderful restaurant Golden Monkey nearby with perfect sea view and tasty food. Staff is friendly and helpful - ready to assist with any question. Location was perfect - in the village with authentic atmosphere (best in El Nido I think). Price and quality are good. I`ll definitely recommend this place.

Little bit out of the way from town but it’s only about a 15 minute walk

The hotel was set back in a small suburb of kind away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but just close enough for an easy walk into town. It truly lives up to its name of serenity and peace. The staff Sem and Tisla were very attentive and accommodating of our needs. The room was comfortable and very modern will all the amenities needed. A bonus was that the hotel was 2 minutes walk from the beach with some great views and lovely rock pools to explore. They also easily arranged all tours and pick-ups for traveling. They have a very informative booklet in the room, which we found very helpful. Thanks for the wonderful and relaxing stay at your hotel.

This hotel is private and looks beautiful, very up to date. Offered everything I needed. Loved the location, felt safe as a female solo traveller to walk there at night. Great that they offer laundry service. Bed is comfortable and its quiet at night. Thanks again @ Sem (reception) for your lovely service. You were easy to approach and always willing to help.

The place is new and very well cared. The room was really nice, and the bed was comfortable, good water pressure, available purified water in the lobby and is near to the beach and on walking distance to the town center.

This hotel is a short walk from town, so it's helpful to rent a motorbike from this location. The facilities were really clean, the bed was comfortable, and AC was provided. The hotel helped me coordinate a ride to the hotel but I had to walk into town for my ride to my next destination since it was earlier than the front-desk was open.

There were 3 cockroaches in our room. The staff immediately removed them. No warm water.
The staff was really nice and helped us organizing transports, laundry service and stay.

Very far from the main town. At high tide you cannot rent a tricycle and need to walk. Mosquitos in the room smelled like moth balls. Breakfast is not included and an expensive add on even when there are no other breakfast places around. Additionally there is a flood light right outside the bedroom door. It was so bright in the room that I kept waking up thinking it was morning.
Big, comfy bed. Friendly staff who helps when needed. Big rooms.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The location was difficult to access to at night, due to high tides blocking the road, and the shower only had cold water despite being advertised as warm. Additionally, there were ants in the room. Overall, it was not accurately advertised and I would not recommend it.

Water pressure in the sink very poor I came on New Year’s Eve,next day no one been working and no one tidied up room ,also no one empty the bins for whole my stay Ants/it’s nothing you can do about it Just make sure yuh don’t have anything they could like it..they destroyed my lipstick I think this place little bit overpriced,because there is no another facilities Also on the evening it combs a problem go there by trycicle …due night water in some part of the road
