It was a bit noisy as the walls aren’t well insulated. The lighting was dim especially in the bathroom.

We enjoyed our stay at Sophia’s. The location on the beach is lovely with excellent views from the eating/lounge area. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were a decent size. Lots of good restaurants close by and a great place to relax.

Room A had no view. Bathroom drain didnt work properly, so after showering you had to wade in water for about 30 minutes.

Pillows were not great, also although the staff was very friendly and helpful to certain degree only when manager arrived we have seen a vast improvement in quality of service.

The linens were horrible. The pillows and towels felt like they were made of the cheapest polyester, normally wouldn't care so much, but drying off after a shower was a really uncomfortable experience. I would expect it from a run down hostel, but this place was very expensive for what it offered. A small, small investment in some better pillows and some real towels would pay off a lot. It took over an hour for me to receive a ham and cheese sandwich after ordered.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. They took care of everything we asked of them. The location is excellent and the view is very nice. It was a very quiet and peaceful place. I fell ill while there and it was a good place to recuperate. You can hear the gentle waves while you're sleeping.

Sophias is in a great location. It has a side facing the bay and a side on the main street, where is easy to take a trycicle to go back and forth to El Nido centre or wherever you want. Room was big and quite clean. Breakfast could be better but all the staff do their best to let you feel at home. I asked for something out of the menù and they satisfied my request..so really appreciated! The view from the terrace certainly it lets you start a good day.

It's literally on the beach and so peaceful with nobody to disturb your piece of paradise. The staff are very friendly, and relaxed, we felt.like we were staying with friends. The whole place is super relaxed

You have to get a tuktuk to go downtown to get food, and the breakfast could use some improvement Towel were weird, more like blankets, but that wasn’t a big deal

We like it's a beach front property we like the staff they are very helpful we like that they sell some.snacks at the lobby and can arrange tours the beds are comfortable and very good sheets (hard to find in budget resorts in Palawan!) they have breakfast which needed some heating but it's good. kayak rental was good too and we can kayak.to a nearby private beach which was awesome! location was good too many good restaurants nearby

There was an unpleasant drain smell and quite a lot of drain flies in our room.
