It's around 10/15mins from the centre of General Luna by scooter, wasn't an issue for me as it was very peaceful and loved the serenity but that could be a restriction if you don't want to self ride. Tricycles can be sorted for around php75 to GL.

Everything! I originally booked 1 night but HAD to extend for a 2nd because It was so so good! Loved the outdoor bathroom! All the plants gave it the most beautiful aesthetic. The bed was comfy and loved that there's a mosquito net covering over the top that made it feel like a 4 poster bed when they were tied. The aircon was great, there was a small lock box and water proofs in the room too. Having the private beach on your doorstep is a gift, free use of paddle boards and the cutest dogs on site that are super friendly and love attention. There was a landing and hammock aswell as an outdoor seat which was a really nice place to chill. It was a treat and honestly wish I had more time there. The staff were very attentive and always smiling and welcoming, they helped with all my questions and sorted my transport to and from the airport.

The location is a bit far from the center where we could easily access food or things we need and that costs us extra fare. BUt the point of being at that location is for you get away from the noise and fully give yourself peace and quiet so it's something we need to adjust to but not really a problem.

Perfect place to relax and meditate. It was well maintained and the service is exceptional (Shoutout to ate Jen and Nayin). All of our needs were provided at our convenience allowing us to fully relax during our stay (yoga, surfing, island hopping, massage, transportation etc). Best part were the house dogs! Oh my. I can't emphasize enough how sweet and caring Bruno, Douglas, Mocha and Scoobydog to us. They knew we were guests and have given us the best bonding time with them. They are so intelligent and well trained! Love them to bits!

The thermal insulation was weak.

The staff of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. They were very flexible in the kitchen according to your preferences. They provided us with an anti-mosquitoes spray. The outdoor shower was dreamy though when it rains…We had an amazing experience, it felt like having a shower in the middle of the jungle. Loved it.

One night the cabin over from me was blasting music until the early hours of the morning, and I could hear all of it and it wasn't shut down. One day my bedroom wasn't cleaned/attended to. Also I struggled to get a bike with a surfboard rack in time for a surf one evening or even the next morning. In saying that they gave me great information about surf spots and where to rent a board.

I really liked the facilities here, the cabins are lovely as are the outdoor bathrooms. The beach is beautiful and your own, the whole vibe of the place is so nice and relaxed. It's very much a sanctuary away from it all which I loved, don't go in expecting a resort - it's four cabins, with a small staff to support them, but that was exactly what I wanted. The food is really good too, particularly the chicken burger.

The cabins are in one row behind each other. The description on booking.com said 'sea view'. But we can't say that our cabin, the one in the back, has sea view. It is rather reception view 🙂 The same accounts for the third cabin. The first cabin is really beach front sea view, the second sea view. Upon arrival they offered to arrange our onward boat travel from Dapa to Surigao. Although we asked and reminded them several times, even the last morning, the tickets had not been secured. Since we are independent travellers we would not have minded to go to Dapa ourselves, but since they offered it upon arrival .... We doubt we have the wrong phone number, but they did not respond phone calls nor text message or messenger.

Nice relatively calm smal scale retreat. Good food. They are willing to prepare the fish you catch / buy yourself. Nice spacy cabins (only 4) far enough apart and with big veranda. Possibility for scooter rent and island hopping.

The place was quiet and relaxing. You can walk straight to the beach and go for a swim. Also, all the dogs are friendly and they will swim with you and even climb on your paddle board. The staff and the owner were very accomodating and friendly. The place was near to everything we needed (e.g. market, restos, bars, cafes, beach, surfing spots) and they will provide you with a motorcycle to roam the island for just 400 pesos a day. Amazing! I feel like we can both have a chill day or party if we wanted too. The island has all those options for us. But at our age, we wanted a quiet and relaxing spot which soultribe provided perfectly. We will be back for sure! 😍

Loved absolutely everything, this place is without a doubt the best place you can stay on the island. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond… it’s supper chilled and relaxed vibes. The view is beautiful and they even have some cute dogs to hang out with, paddle boards, surf boards and more. Tracey the owner is an amazing chef too! it’s one of those places you don’t want to leave because it’s so special. I’ll be back for sure!

Open bali-styled CR might not be for everyone's taste. A bit too far from General Luna -the center and also hard to get tricycle going to GL. The cabanas do not have any TV or fridge which others might be searching.

I like the ambience. It was facing the beach and the beautiful island views. Perfect star-viewing place at night. The Cabana was very simple and with Bali-style bathroom. Best place to get off the grid.

The boat used by the resort for island hopping is rather small and is suited for a couple of passengers. For larger groups, arranging a bigger boat will be necessary.

The staff were excellent and made us feel so welcome and at home. Special thanks to Jen for arranging all our needs. The resort is a 10-15 min drive away from the city center, so it's a good place if you want quietness and calm. The granola bowl for breakfast was so good.

We absolutely loved our stay at Soul Tribe! Tracy is so warm and welcoming- anything we asked for or wanted to do she was there to accommodate everything! This place has such a warm and cosy feel with lots of friendly dogs running around. The cabanas are beautiful- beds are soo comfortable and so clean. The food was amazing- everything was so fresh and delicious! Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The property is pretty far from General Luna than I expected, its about a 15 min tricycle ride from the main area, so if you intend to go back and forth to and from your resort you’ll have a difficult time if you don’t have a motorbike or your own transportation, or you’ll be spending a good 150 pesos everyday one way so thats 300 pesos back and forth via tricycle. On the first night also we got bitten by plenty of mosquitoes, we eventually bought our own citronella lather on so we wouldn’t wake up in the middle of the night from the mosquitoes. The first 2 nights was difficult but after the first night I was very happy and restful with the citronella lotion we got. The hammock was also broken on our front porch so we weren’t able to use it. We also noticed that it was hard to dry our clothes in the back area of the bathroom so we brought it up front in the front veranda area, our clothes eventually began to dry up better. We’d like to suggest that to the owner to put the hanger in the front instead of the back because the clothes don’t dry in the bathroom area and leaves a wet smell, probably because the outdoor bathroom is shaded and full of plants, the humidity is probably not helping our clothes to dry. On our 2nd night here they had some guests drinking and playing loud music till around 11 in the evening, it was a bit difficult since our cabana was right next to the common area, maybe we can suggest that they have a sign that says to keep it down after a certain time either 10 or 11 or so, so as not to disturb the other guests they have too. The guard had asked us if they were noisy, and I did tell them it was quite loud especially while we were having a massage in the common area on the second floor just above them. I think he was also just shy to mention this to the other people. Finally in the last day when we were charged, we got charged for some items we didn’t order.

We loved the actual look of the place, and also the staff were very attending to our needs. They helped us do a lot of things and call a tricycle, as well as booking the tours and traveling around. We had a pleasant stay here, for my second time in Siargao I wanted to try a different location, far from General Luna area where the crowds of people are. The place is secluded and also full of beautiful resorts around it and a beautiful beach front and sunrise! I am also quite happy that its near the areas of Island hopping where it is easy to access from. The cabana was beautiful! and the outdoor shower was very well conceptualized, i was impressed with the things included in the cabana and also how simple it was and comfortable to rest in and around in. The place was good for what it was worth, if you’re looking for a secluded getaway with a beautiful sunrise, this would be the place for you. There is also a common area you can easy think in and spend time in during the day especially, and the common sitting area by the beachfront is very beautiful!
