Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe internet kept on disconnecting. Minor inconvenience to be honest.
The staff are really friendly. The concierge, especially Ate Gen and MJ, were really friendly and approachable and gave us some tips on how to get around. Staff always had a smile on their face. Love the Filipino hospitality! Room was spacious and had a good view of the mountain. Very close to everything and steps away from the beach. Breakfast was delicious and the staff are attentive of any allergies and special requests.

Canada4th floor with no elevator (understandable with constant blackouts in El Nido) but not advisable for elderly and with disabilities. No hair dryer.
Central location to good restaurants and El Nido beach, friendly and accommodating staff, nice big rooms with a nice view of the limestone cliffs.

United KingdomUnfortunately, I would struggle to stay here if I ever returned to El Nido, as the Aircon was loud, but worst of all, the noise from outside from people & those motorbike trikes making a racket until the early hours. Didn't help with single glazed windows.
It was in a great location, central to the beach, bars, shops, and restaurants. The room was big with big comfortable beds. The aircon was good, also good WiFi. The breakfast was included in the price, but even tho not big it was freshly made and did the job.

United KingdomIt could get quite noisy at night but we still managed to sleep comfortably. Could have done with a duvet rather than just a sheet. Furniture in the room could definitely do with a refresh.
Rooms were incredibly spacious and very clean. Several water machines around the hotel to refill our bottles. Comfortable bed and a powerful AC unit (which was quite loud). Staff were lovely and helped us out a lot with booking excursions and sorting takeaway breakfasts.

NetherlandsSome noise from the street can be heard at night, but it was manageable compared to other places we've stayed at in the country.
Nice staff, very big room, nice breakfast (although it can take very long to get it if you go around 8am). Great location, close to everything.

AustraliaVery basic amenities in the room. Breakfast was very average and lacked good vegetarian/vegan options.
The room was clean & spacious. I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony, I feel like this made a big difference in our experience. Great location and a good bike hire place next door.

SwitzerlandWith earplugs we slept well. The window and balcony door could be better insulated against the street noise.
The hotel and staff are great, you will be treated exceptionally well here. Breakfast choices range from western to pinoy and plant based options are available too. Everything is made fresh. The staff was fantastic, the room was large and comfortable and had everything we needed including 4 pillows and cleaning everyday. The bed was comfortable, the AC powerful and the location cannot be better. The hotel is situated in the town center within a few steps from shops, restaurants, the beach, scooter rental and ATMs. The staff is very helpful at arranging tours at the market price.

United StatesWi-Fi is pretty non existent. It would kicked us out and we had to log back in. A day before check out, we had to get new usernames and passwords because it didn't accept old credentials. Since the hotel is in the heart of downtown El Nido, we could hear the noise from the vehicles and foot traffic below from the 3rd floor. This is always a trade off if you want to stay at the center of all the action. If you are light sleeper, bring ear plugs. We got use to it but the lack of Wi-Fi was more of a pressing issue.
It doesn't get more central than this hotel in El Nido. The hotel takes up an entire block. We were able to easily walk everywhere around town including the beachfront where many of the restaurants, shops, and island hopping tours operate from. Our room was spacious and the hotel didn't feel crowded at all. The hotel provides free water fills so no need to buy single use plastic water bottles. Breakfast on the fourth floor was decent with nice views and breakfast options.
