The matress was bigger then the bed, which made the sides stand up and the place to sleep very small. Curtains could be more darkening and we found some cockroaches but thats expected in the Philippines

The location is a little difficult- if you don’t ride a bike. Talking at 3 am and watching TikTok’s outside the room - not the hostels fault but also the road is super loud lots of motorbikes so keep in mind and bring earplugs

Great little family run hostel, lovely people amazing food they run a carinderia super yummy and affordable. Room was great with fans bathroom to share - not sure if this would have been as enjoyable if the hostel was fully booked but was fine with the amount of guests.

Only accomodiation in PH where we had to pay for drinking water. I don't care about the money it's just annoying to always refill your bottles in 200ml (1 Peso) steps. Just charge me 20Peso more per night for unli refill.

Friendly hosts that can give you some good recommendations for the area. Scooter Rental for 350P and laundry for 150P (2kg). Large room and well working ac. Good wifi and good location close to the city center. Busstop is in walkable distance. Food stall in the accomodiation.

I like the environment of this property. Happy and light. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Also, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We feel very safe. Mam Angel is so helpful. She assisted us with our canyoneering bookings and also allowed us to rent her tricycle and motorcycle. The food is very affordable.

The only downside is it is not by the beach where the Sardine run is and where most backpackers stay since there's more nightlife and restaurants in the area. If you have a motorcycle or are willing to walk the half hour, it is absolutely worth it.

Everything! The staff was super friendly (including the doggos :)), the food was delicious (best garlic rice I had in the Philippines), the room was spacious, the beds were comfy, I even had the dorm to myself because I was the only girl staying there. The facilities are so nice, surrounded by nature and with some nice hangout areas.

Room was relatively clean but a little run down. Not a place to stay if you want luxury or a fancy bathroom. But perfectly functional place to have as a base for a few days.

Lovely staff, super friendly and helpful. Rented a great motorbike easily, and free water refills. Laundry was affordable, quick and smelled fantastic.

- wifi was not stable and very slow - very bad smell from the bathroom - no hostel atmosphere at all - except for the owner's sister the staff was not attentive at all - the restaurant had only 4 dishes to choose - far away from the seaside and restaurants - almost no restaurants in the neighborhood - during our 6-day stay there was only 1 cleaning

It was in the main village, not in the turistic area, but it’s a 30 mins walk. For water refilling you need to pay 5pesos. Not a social hostel at all.

It was clean, I had the room for myself actually so a lot of space. Staff was friendly!
